A 8-Victory Novice Contractor played by WIZARDBATTLE in Maelstrom
He is 34 (44) years old, lives in a shitty appartment in NYC, and often appears as a giant, scarred man with a beard that reaches his chest and a shaved, tattooed head. He is wearing a bomber jacket, a red, collarless button-up, jeans, and what looks like a glove that goes past the sleeve. He bears himself like he's expecting somebody to jump him at any moment.
Halfdan Black lives in Maelstrom, a setting where videos of the supernatural go viral every day. His journal, The Big Book of Shit I've Fucked Up, has 15 entries.

When I hold a weapon in my hand, I forget about any pain that might be affecting me. It all just goes away and I can focus on what's important.
A network of nodes along synapse paths pain travels along halt the sensation of pain. In effect, Halfdan's pain is caught in the act and strangled out of existence.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Body Penalty is reduced to 0. Does not reduce Mind Penalty.
My entire left arm is made out of lightning that look like they were frozen in time, though it remains fully articulate. It glows bright, a pale blue, through thin materials and I need to wear a heavy coat to avoid it being seen.
Implanted into the base of the shoulder is a miniature storm generator wired directly into Halfdan's nervous system. It seems that it has the potential to take shapes other than an arm, but it comes standard as an arm which suits Halfdan just fine.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You gain an additional limb that functions as a standard human arm and hand.
Each additional limb you posses can take one Quick Action per Round without incurring a -2 dice penalty to your main Action. Any Battle Scars that affect or remove your additional limb will heal in a single week.
Your extra appendage can stretch to reach an additional 30 feet.
Your extra appendage is not connected to your nervous or circulatory systems, and you will not take damage if it is hit by an attack or destroyed.
Your Extra Appendage counts as an object and can be hacked or targeted by any Powers that affect objects or machines. Injuries to your Extra Appendage cannot be healed by Powers that affect living things but may be repaired during Downtime.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Lost left arm.
Covering my body are scars that look like I got struck by lightning. Which I suppose I have on occasion. When performing feats of strength, they glow and crackle with the pale, blue light of electricity.
An intricate mesh of titanium wrapping and interlacing with Halfdan's skeletal system increase the breaking point of his bones beyond normal human limits. This also makes him very hard to kill, as the mesh softens all blows.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your lightning shaped scars arcing across your body.
Your Brawn rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Brawn (cannot be used on combat rolls or Effect activations).
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
Pieces of metal run around the crown of my head from my temples back. Some pf them have cable ports and some switches, though I have no idea what the switches do.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You are permanently and visibly transformed: ________. You are considered to be a Sapient, Living Computer when targeted. Your Intellect is increased by 1.
Your body is adapted to hacking. You receive +3 dice on non-attack rolls related to hacking.
Your body provides you with the functionality of a cellular enabled laptop. If used to attack, these "tools" use the same stats as a small knife.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Missing right ear; +1 hearing difficulty.
I have a voice in my head that tries to keep me mentally healthy. I recognize the irony in talking to a voice in my head for therapy but what the hell else am I supposed to do? Ignore it? It's very helpful!
Exert your Mind to activate. You may only target yourself. Over the course of one day, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired. After the full treatment time has elapsed, roll Charisma + Technology at Difficulty 6.
Your target may Resist. If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.
The edges of my wounds crackle with little static bolts and they look like they stop too much blood flow. Over a few days, the static seems like it's knitting the wounds closed altogether.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Any Injury you receive from a source other than water heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every day. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active automatically count as a successful Proper Stabilization and do not deteriorate further. Any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will heal with the Injury.
You may Exert your Mind and spend an Action to reduce the Severity of one of your Injuries by 1. Does not affect Injuries suffered as an activation cost for Effects.
Injuries you receive from water are increased in Severity by 1.
Electricity crackles through my limbs, driving them faster and harder into my foes and increasing the density of my skin allowing me to deflect attacks as if with a weapon.
A series of nodes can be found in the largest of Halfdan's muscle groups, with special attention to the limbs and either side of the abdomen. Halfdan triggers them seemingly unconsciously whenever he engages those muscles with the intent to attack. They connect and overcharge said muscles such that that have more power available in every attack. They seem to also detect incoming attacks from materials that would normally cause harm if deflected or attacked, directing the extra power to increase the density and tightness of necessary areas of skin.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat.
+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +4 Weapon Damage (instead of -1). The target's Armor is fully effective against this damage.
You also gain the following effects:
