Circumstances

Circumstances describe your situation.

Examples include enemies, wealth, notoriety, social status, contacts, fame, and imprisonment.

Because each Playgroup has its own setting, Circumstances record the Playgroup they were acquired in.

Average Finances
From Assets and Liabilities
You can live stably off your money. You have access to $2,500 (or equivalent currency) per Contract.

Conditions

Conditions describe your state of being.

Examples of Conditions include curses, diseases, and impactful personality quirks.

Conditions are granted by Assets and Liabilities or by GMs based on the events of Contracts and Downtime activities like Moves, and Loose Ends.

Because Conditions may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.

From Assets and Liabilities
Gullible You are trusting and honest to a fault, and believe almost everything you hear. You automatically fail any roll to detect a lie, and any rolls which involve telling lies are at +3 difficulty.
Contortionist You are unusually flexible, and may squeeze through small spaces with ease. Reduce the Difficulty of any roll to escape a grapple or Dexterity roll involving flexibility by 2.

Loose Ends

Loose Ends will cause problems for you if you don't tie them up.

Examples of Loose Ends include enemies, debts, evidence, and promises.

All Loose Ends have a Cutoff that counts down each time you attend a Contract. When it hits zero, the Threat of your Loose End manifests, causing issues for your Contractor.

You cannot see the current values of your Loose Ends' Cutoffs, but you can take initiative and make Moves on your Downtimes to deal with them before time runs out.

Biography

while his brothers pursued the martial arts, he tried avoiding it as he saw his brothers become criminals as of doing so. Wanting to stay as far as possible from it he focused on his school studies and even getting a scholarship, going into chemistry which he was ok at. He got news of his brother's death, reaching the funeral in what he could borrow from his mates at college. He mourned alongside him but as of hearing his father's tails of him and his brothers, and then himself at a young age and what his brother was doing after he got released from prison. He felt a desire to try it out, seeing it in a new light thanks to these tales of hardships both he and his brother went through but managed to prevail with the martial arts. He left college with not even a degree and asked his father to start teaching him which he did, living with his father and being taught everything was a rigorous year of practical torture but in the end, he was better and even given his father's GI as he was told to pass on what he was taught to his son's and be better than he was. He took it to heart and decides he is gonna take it his way, wanting to participate in competitions and be the best and even surpass his brothers may be too.
