As the Sacred Guardian of the Temple, those favored by the Goddess Nephthys can wield her power to open any barred path. To do so one must be wearing the Seal of Nephthys & work in the darkness. The shadows are protection. Either way, the path will lay open to the faithful.
Exert your Mind (unless Shadows/darkness) and spend an Action to activate. Select a door, lock, or locked target within 20 feet. Cannot be used on Alien technology. You must actively and obviously use Amulet of Nephys to activate this Effect.
You may lock, unlock, and/or open your target.
The cheese used crumbles in Edam's hands, and with a brief look of horror, the organs inside the target begin to calcify, turning first to milk and then curdling to make cheese. Very painfully.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Living target within 45 feet. You must use up a piece of cheese in order to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Medicine Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling Body, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much damage plus 3. The target's material Armor is completely ignored.
Injuries caused by this Effect do not heal naturally. They can be Stabilized, but will not reduce in Severity unless they are healed through an Effect or some sort of supernatural ability.
If the target takes damage from this Effect, they will receive at least a Minor Battle Scar regardless of the Severity of their Injury. The specifics of the scar are up to GM's discretion.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: One eye without function, the optic nerves having turned to cheese.
Instead of dealing Damage all at once, the Injury caused by this Power starts at Severity 1 and worsens at the rate of one level per Round until it reaches the Severity it would have otherwise been.
Taking the Arm and the Eye did not just ease the pain. The socket stoped the bleeding, the eye let me see. The flesh of her forearm let me live, but the muscle let me fight back. Taxidermy more than surgery, but it works just as well.
Exert your Mind and spend ten minutes to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must use up The same type of body part as what is scarred/damaged, taken from a fresh corpse or surgically removed in order to activate this Effect. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.
The treated Battle Scar will heal over the course of the next week.
Use up this Arrows and spend an Action to activate. Make a Arrows attack at a target within normal attack range. Roll your for your attack as normal. The target may roll to dodge or defend, as normal for Arrows attacks. The attack does not deal Damage, but the Effect does.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much damage plus 1. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.
Instead of dealing damage all at once, the Injury caused by this Power starts at Severity 1 and worsens at the rate of one level per round until it reaches the Severity it would have otherwise been.

Spend an Action to activate. Select a target within 20 feet. Roll Intellect + Technology at Difficulty 6. The target] may contest by Defending or Dodging.
If you succeed, your target will be restricted at their location by a physical, tangible binding. They can still move their arms and use Effects, but cannot move to a new location.
The binding around a target must be destroyed in order for them to break free. Breaking the binding requires a total amount of damage equal to twice the contested Outcome from the Effect activation. Damage from multiple attacks is cumulative and stacks linearly.
This Gift's level is capped at 2 Gifts and cannot be increased further.
The kid walks down the dark street illuminated by street lamps, bunching himself up to stay warm. He hears a piercing screech from afar and quickens his pace out of fear. The air feels colder and heavier. A man walks down the road in front of him, he's big, muscly as hell but the cold keeps the kid in place he can't seem to bring himself to cross the street to avoid him and with every step the air feels colder and colder and colder until it hugs him in a climax, the man smirking passes the kid, a new weight bearing on his shoulders. Days later the child sits over a corpse eating, greedily stuffing chunks into his mouth.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Living target within arm’s reach. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect. Roll Brawn + Influence at Difficulty 6. Your target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 7.

The affliction is not treatable by modern medicine. It may be diagnosed by rolling Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6, and can be cured by _Ingestion of copious amounts of animal fat and oils_.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is A cold wind leaves Gullivers slightly open mouth and wraps around your body. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
The mad scientist produces thorium cores that can be used to upgrade tools and other devices. The core supercharges the item, increasing its quality and rendering it indestructible for a period. However, once the core runs dry, the object is rendered less useful than it was before. The core crackles with blue electricity while active.
Use up this glowing blue disk and spend a minute to activate. Select a non-Alien Device within arm's reach. Cannot be used to improve Armor.
For the next hour, your target receives 1 extra dice to all actions taken for its intended use. Attacking with an upgraded weapon grants +1 Bonus Damage instead of additional dice. While it is upgraded, the item cannot be destroyed.
After the Effect ends, any upgraded targets suffer a -1 dice penalty until they are either repaired or upgraded again.
All it takes is a flick of your hair and a bat of your eyelashes, and you’ve got their attention.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. All Sapient, Living targets within 20 feet of you who can perceive you through sight are affected. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6. All affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the targets will keep their full attention focused on you for contested Outcome in Rounds. They will automatically fail any rolls related to noticing anything other than you. If they cannot perceive you through sight for three Rounds, the Effect is broken. The Effect ends early if the target is Injured or enters Combat.
This does not affect the target’s opinion of you or their mood, and they may take any Actions while affected (including attacking), as long as that action centers on you.
No terrestrial animal dares defy the will of the beastmaster. The beastmaster exerts their dominance over an animal by locking eyes and giving a primal cry. The creature immediately becomes docile and eager to please.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Creature within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is a terrestrial animal.
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.
Your commands can be complex and multi-layered, though they must still be specific. You cannot make them obviously endanger themselves or violate their instinct for self-preservation. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.
The Psychic can speak directly into someone's mind, engaging in an entirely telepathic conversation. While they do, they take on a blank, vacant stare in the direction of their target, and appear to be muttering gibberish to themselves under their breath.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a target within 10 miles of you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. This Effect cannot be used unless you can see your target.
You open up a line of conversation to your target, and may continue speaking with them without any additional Exertion cost for as long as you maintain Concentration
The conversation will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
Once the werewolf tastes the blood of their prey, there's no escape. Those injured by the beast's claws and teeth are marked with its saliva. Their wounds smell strongly of blood, and it's only a matter of time before the werewolf returns with a vengeance to finish the kill.
This Effect activates whenever a target you have injured with your teeth or claws escapes the range of your unarmed attacks. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a target within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is alive and bleeds.
Your target is marked with a throbbing wound that smells strongly of blood for an hour, or until it is removed or until you choose to end the Effect. The mark can only be discovered with a deep medical inspection or Effect. Removal inflicts a Severity 1 Injury on the target.
You are aware of the marked target's direction and distance from you. You can have up to 1 mark active.
You receive +2 dice to any rolls made against a marked target.
