Connor creates magical temporary tattoo paper that individuals can draw a picture on and enhance themselves with Conners brand new item for sale.
Use up this A temporary Tattoo (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7), Exert your Mind, and spend an hour to activate. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. The target can easily Resist.
You may add one augmentation to your target. Each augmentation counts as a Battle Scar and can have exactly one of the following Effects:
The augmentations you provide are not outwardly visible nor obvious.
Your alteration "heals" over the course of the next month, after which it is fully cured.
You see the user reaching into their bag and grabbing onto a spray can, with their item in hand or in front of them, they start to spray it, but instead of it becoming a different colour, it becomes a whole different object instead.
That’s pretty cool, right?
Spend one minute to activate. Select a Object within arm's reach. You must use up A spray paint can. in order to activate this Effect.
The target becomes disguised with a new forged appearance of your choice, which must fit within the theme of An Artist. You may have up to 3 Forgeries active concurrently and may choose to end the effect at will as a Free Action.
The new appearance must be relatively generic, cannot mimic specific items (such as a particular painting, a certain person’s ID, etc), and must be of a similar size and weight to the targeted Object. The forged appearance will generally hold up to any mundane scrutiny, though exceptions can be made at GMs discretion.
This Gift's level is capped at 2 Gifts and cannot be increased further.
Red cables unwind and attempt to pull out and shove back in countless screaming ethereal copies of the target, overwhelming their mind with a barrage of their own thoughts with minute different details. These ethereal copies then dissipate into non-existence, all while the target starts to question if they died already and are a just copy of themselves that survived.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. Roll Perception + Alertness at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8 with a -3 dice penalty. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically and their Outcome is 0.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes Mind damage equal to the Contested Outcome. If you deal at least 3 Mind damage, the target will gain a new Trauma selected by the GM. This trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy as per normal rules. Affected targets are aware that you are interacting with them but they do not view it as an attack or view the resulting Trauma as malicious. If their Trauma is treated, they will be able to see the reality of the situation.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see countless screaming ethereal copies of someone re-enter their body and inflict pain to them.
A small cloud of dust comes from my skin and "infects" the target. For a moment, I feel every part of their body and can push and pull the flesh, bone, and blood into a more favorable position.
Spend an Action to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 6. The target may roll Body, Difficulty 7, as a Free Action to resist.
If you succeed, the target receives a new Battle Scar of your choosing, limited by the contested Outcome:
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
Your alteration "heals" over the course of the next month, after which it is fully cured.
Dragons, naga, fey, and creatures of all types tend to collect and hoard. The problem is knowing about what is in your hoard, what they do, and what other beasts lay claim to your wealth. Now you can intuit that information by spending time with new pieces, studying and examining its exterior and underlying powers.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute to activate. Select a target Object within arm's reach. You cannot investigate the same target more than once per hour. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn a single specific piece of information, chosen from the following list, about your target:
Fire is not the only thing that burns, and nothing burns more than poison inside of a basilisk. Myths say that if you speared one while sitting atop a horse, the toxins would run up the spear, killing not only the rider but also the horse he rides upon. Burning, crawling acid fits such a description.
This Effect activates whenever Taking a severity two or greater injury. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a Living target within arm’s reach. Roll Dexterity + Melee at Difficulty 6. Your target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the target is afflicted with a Condition that causes one of the following symptoms:
The affliction can be diagnosed with a Medicine roll, and may be cured by modern medicine through treatment at a fully equipped facility. Treatment outside of a facility may stop the affliction from worsening for a day, but will not cure the underlying Condition.
The Vampire is able to turn one of their victims into a lesser vampire, a pale shadow of a full creature of the night but useful nonetheless. Having drained and killed their target, the Vampire performs a brief ritualistic bloodletting, wherein they spill their own blood into the target's mouth, forcing them to drink, and bonding them together as child and sire.
Shortly afterwards, the fledgling vampire will rise from death, hungry for blood and eager to serve.
Take a Severity-1 Injury and spend an Action to activate. Select a Dead target within arm's reach that has died within the last hour. This Effect cannot be used unless you drained the target's blood while they were still alive.
Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They can communicate as they would have been able to in life. They will follow any command you speak.
The creature lasts until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion. The raised creature must consume blood every day or it will die again.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see the Vampire draining blood from a body's neck, and feeding his own blood in turn to that same body.
The detective can flash their badge and bark out orders to a person or a crowd, and the target will have trouble ignoring their command.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend at least one Action to activate. All Sapient, Living targets within 20 feet of you are affected. You must actively and obviously use a police badge to activate this Effect. Communicate a command to your targets. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Any affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, your targets will be compelled to follow your command to the letter-- but not necessarily the spirit-- of the command until they have completed it or for your Outcome in minutes. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
The target is unaware that they are under supernatural influence and feel they are acting of their own free will. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Your command cannot be obviously self-endangering or self-destructive. Commands may force a target to violate one of their Limits, and they will need to make a Trauma roll once the suggestion wears off.
While addressing a crowd, the influencer may use coded language to send secret messages to a particular person in the crowd. These messages can't be noticed or understood by anyone but the intended target.
Spend an Action to activate. Select a target within 10 miles of you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is listening and you are speaking to multiple people.
You may send a single message to your target. It can be no more complicated than a multi-page letter or a long email.
The message will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is your left hand making a fist. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The doctor is a master at surgical transplantation. As long as they have a donor part, they can replace any permanent, lingering battle scars on their patient. Of course, the transplanted part doesn't always match, and the patient must be careful to follow the doctor's aftercare orders, or the replacement will be rejected.
Exert your Mind and spend an hour to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must use up a donor body part matching the injured area in order to activate this Effect. Select a Battle Scar on your target to treat.
The treated Battle Scar will heal immediately. You may specify a specific condition that the patient must adhere to. If they break this condition, the treatment is immediately reversed. Record this regimen as a Condition.
Healing a Battle Scar in this way leaves behind a mismatched replacement on the target which cannot be healed.
The aquamancer shifts into their elemental form and melds into a nearby collection of water, only to reform shortly out of a different source of water within line of sight.
Exert your Mind and spend 2 rounds to activate. Select a Location within your line of sight , and which is directly adjacent to water. You must be within arm's reach of water to activate this Effect.
You are transported directly to the chosen Location. You must wait an hour before activating this effect again.
