On the streets of JUSTICE!

As Mansquito returned to his daily routine of patrolling the streets for any signs of crime, his exceptional eyesight and horrific power aiding him in his task, he managed to chance upon a violent assault from a gang of crooks upon a sweet old lady. Outraged by the complete and utter lack of JUSTICE, Mansquito prepared to charge, only to realise the young men all carried guns. The bullet wound in his chest throbbed, reminding the hero of his own mortality, but his very being cried out for him to rectify this situation. Unable to turn from the cry for help, the heros blood pounded furiously through his veins, and he felt power course through his body as he began to swell, his already impressive size being further amplified and his slender limbs suddenly rippling with power. With his newly enhanced physique, Mansquito let out a cry of "FOR GREAT - BZZZZZZZTTTT - JUSTICE!!!" And leapt at the crooked young men, intent on apprehending them. The horrified criminals shrieked in terror at the black-shelled abomination charging towards them, one trying to shoot but failing as the bullets bounced off the thick, chitinous shell of the towering Mansquito. There was no mercy for the miscreant youths as Mansquito crushed them beneath his immense weight, before returning the stolen handbag to the old lady, now collapsed on the street after her horrific ordeal. Satisfied with a job well done, Mansquito returned home, completely ignorant of the wail of sirens far off in the distance, and the muffled screams as onlookers tried not to catch the insectoid behemoths attention.

the only limit is FIGHTING SPIRIT!

Mansquito returned to his New York apartment largely ignored. The citizenry knew he stood only for JUSTICE, and so did not try to interfere with his duties, and the officers, poor blind fools unable to comprehend the true depths of JUSTICE and the sacrifices necessary to uphold it, tended to avoid him when not in large groups. So be it, their failure to learn from their mistakes and properly uphold JUSTICE was their responsibility, and he would not go out of his way to interfere with them if they left him alone in turn. Mansquito could not help but weep for the state of law enforcement these days, though he had never personally been a member he strongly believed in the righteousness of enforcing the values of the good and just on the unrighteous, and scoffed at all those who complained about petty things like 'human rights violations' and 'rampant property damage', after all, Mansquito himself had shrugged off far worse wounds than mere gunshots or broken bones, all one truly needed was a bit of FIGHTING SPIRIT! As he thought this, Mansquito could feel that swirling pool of energy inside of himself, that limitless well from which he drew the strength necessary to bring JUSTICE to the world, bubble in response. Finally, he maged to unlock the door to his apartment and squeeze inside, crouching down to avois putting any further holes in the roof. It wouldn't do to upset the landlady again, she was quite kind to allow Mansquito to remain despite all the mishaps that occured recently. He should see about getting her a resent, maybe one of those pet cacti they sold?

Training Montage

Once Mansquito was home and rested, he was filled with the urge to train. Never again would he be helpless, as a dark object of unrelenting malevolence burrowed its way into the heart and mind of one of his companions! Never again would he fail in his duty to enact JUSTICE upon all who dwelt in the cold, dark alleyways of EVIL! For he was Mansquito, upholder of JUSTICE, enacter of TRUTH, bastion of the one true way, and nothing, be they god, man, or Mother Nature, that villainous fiend, herself, would prevent him from upholding his duty to the people of the world! Fired up from his musings, Mansquito clambered upon the roof of his apartment building, and began to sprint, leaping from rooftop to rooftop as he sought out the perfect place to practice, the FIGHTING SPIRIT surging through hisheart propelling him to push his limits, his body working overtime as he found greater andgreater distances to traverse, until finally, he broke past his limits, the oversized adrenal glands in his Mosquito body dumping a flood of hormones into his veins as he soared between buildings, speed far surpassing anything he had ever achieved before. As he did so, the sirens of cop cars blared behind him, screeching for his stop, and for him to cease his EVERLASTING PURSUIT of JUSTICE! BUT HE WOULD NOT! FOR HE! WAS MANSQUITO! AND WHILE HE STILL LIVED, EVERYONE WOULD KNOW THE TRUE FACE OF JUSTICE! NONE COULD STAND IN HIS WAY!

Unbreakable

By the time he returned from his adventure, Mansquito could feel a qualative change come over himself. His chitinous exoskeleton, already thick and tough, had grown harder, now properly encapsulating his entire body in a way it hadn't before, and he felt... durable. Previously his exoskeleton had acted as normal clothing, tough enough to endure the weathering of the world as he went about doing his duty to fight for JUSTICE! But never tough enough to take a bullet until he had acquired the ability to enhance himself, and expand his impressive form to greater size. Now, he felt as if he could shrug off a bullet. Truly, the ways of JUSTICE were incomprehensible, empowering him through his pursuit of perfect JUSTICE, making him ever stronger, more powerful, more able to fulfill the needs of true JUSTICE, now, not even the most brazen of criminals would be able to stop him! True to form, upon reaching the great city of New York, his home and base of operations, Mansquito once more set off to patrol the streets, ever vigilant for any signs of INJUSTICE afoot, when he came across a den of MOST VILE VILLAINOUS VILLAINS! Gangsters, from the look of them, scrawny twenty somethings loitering in an abandoned warehouse near the shore, and with his keen Mosquito eyes, Mansquito could see firearms hidden within their clothes. The only course of action to ensure the enforcemnt of TRUE JUSTICE was to take these evildoers down, and so Mansquito prepared. His vigour coursed through his body causing it to expand, muscle inflating like balloons as his exoskeleton thickened, darkening to a deep black. Mansquito backed up a distance, facing a plain, solid wall of the warehouse, and his oversized adrenal glands dumped a portion of his reservoir into his body, time seeming to slow around him. Mansquito charged forward like a bullet, slamming through the wall, the expanded chitin cracking and flying off of him as his true shell underneath held firm, the monstrous Vigilante plowing into two of the Criminal Scum as he slammed clean through the wall. A resounding cry of "JUSTICE - BZZZZzzzZTT- CRASH!" echoed through the building, as the armed men jus tstood in stunned silence as a creature they had only heard rumours of burst through the wall like a homicidal Kool-Aid Man, before reinflating into a hulking, 12 foot behemoth. Fueled by his burning desire for JUSTICE, Mansquito thrashed the Evildoers with barely a scratch, his hardened exoskeleton reducing the single bulletwound that pierced his shell to a mere flesh wound, one that was easy to correct with his overflowing FIGHTING SPIRIT! Once more, JUSTICE had prevailed!

Odd Ends

Mansquito was making his way home, alone after parting ways with Yu, a feeling of satisfaction in his chest at his victory, when he felt rather peckish. Opening his lunch, he found to his surprise that it was absolutely infested with maggots. Not one to be dettered by such things, and rather in need of more protein following his exertions throughout the day, Mansquito happily bit into his meal anyway, the maggots easily cut apart by his inhuman maw. Unfortunately for him, eating suddenly appearing maggots was not the wisest of decisions, and he proceeded to vomit as the maggots replicated, flooding his stomach. The tide of squirming insects continued to self-replicate, until Mansquito's impressive bulk was buried beneath the tide, and then, he was elsewhere.

In a forest, in a far off place, Mansquito awoke, the tide of maggots which transported him across space vanishing into nothingness. Enthused at the sudden kidnapping, Mansquito dashed out, looking for the villain that surely must have brought him there, no doubt for some nefarious scheme. He found an accountant, going by the name of Jeremy Wesley, who was close enough that he probably counted as one, despite any protests he may have made. Fortunately for the sinister accountant, he was rescued by a strange, volcanic figure, a man with burning fire on his arms and cat ears. In a moment of strange clarity, almost as if the idea had been handed to him, Mansquito realised who this mysterious stranger was: Volcanikat! Overjoyed at encountering another Hero, Mansquito leapt to begin a crime-fighting partnership, easily accepting an invitation to Volcanikats secret base! What a wonderful day to be a Hero of JUSTICE! The giant bug man decided, completely forgetting about the accountant he was about to apprehend.
