Tomorrow and Yesterday

It sees surreal, the extent of what I can do now. I now possess the means to use my artistic talent in order to impact people. By simply making a drawing of some kind on a person, I can now change their body's structure. Turn it into something....different. The limits of which, I assume, are confined to my imagination. This will be an effective tool, I suspect, for whatever future adventure I will take part in.

Apart from which, I've taken to acquiring new tools. If those werewolves were anything to go by, there'll be more supernaturally inclined foes to face in the future. For which, a simple handgun won't be enough. I've taken to purchasing odd trinkets, knives and daggers especially, of various makes, ideally something can help me with whatever threat I'll have to face next.

AA has yet to make a move, but I suspect they'll make more attempts in the near future. It's unfortunate I can't come to terms with them. I suppose they'll just have to be exterminated, once I've gained the strength to do so. I should get into contact with Frank, though, given how things have been going, I'm sure I'll meet him in yet another contract.

All the same, practicing with using my current 'tools' is what I've currently elected to do, until the next call to action comes. I can only hope my preparation will be enough to face whatever is thrown my way. Giant Spiders, what I suspect to have been a mystic and now werewolves and invisible beasts. There's really no telling what can be expected for the future.

Further Training

After my encounter in that 'forest' or whatever it was in the end, against the tree, I found myself powerless, incapable of doing anything to aid the others in combating it. Whatever could be the reason, I knew in myself, I needed to better my own capabilities in order to never be met with such a situation again. And so I set out and took to training with many tools, knives, swords, axes, guns, guns and more guns. It all seemed to be the same until I placed my hand on an innocent looking bow. The ink spread from the tips of fingers onto it. The ink spread and enveloped it entirely. As I began to use that bow, firing an arrow, I could see an immediate change.

As I drew back the arrow, it too started to be covered in ink, transforming into a dark, black shade. When I released it, the arrow moved with speed and intensity I could never produce before, as it cut through the air and finally hit the target head on....And just as it did, it started to fade, a transient bringer of the end, disappearing in the starless night, just as soon as it had done its work. Simple and effecient.

I could see now that the Bow was my call to arms. And what a better weapon for an assassin to use? The bow and the arrows it fired seemed to be imbued with ink that could allow me perfect shots no matter what the conditions, be it rain, untoward terrain, nothing seemed to be capable of throwing me off my aim. And with it, I'm sure, my fate will be secure.

The Calm After The Storm

Our friend Minerva had been transported back, but it seemed our time in the world was due more. I called the authorities and reported the matter, two more victims were unaccounted for, and so that duty was left to the police while I rode to the hospital to get Ryan some needed aid. After making the drop, I rode off and as I did, so did calm the storm and within the blink of an eye, I was back to the streets I knew, that I rode so many times before.

I knew immediately, something was ary, an inspection in the mirror revealed a tattoo I had not yet given myself, the image of an octopus, a creature known for its ability to weave through the water, a master of camoflage and a creature with multiple brains in order to effectively utilize each of its limbs. It gave me power, more accuractely, perspective and ability that was inhumane. My artistic abilities, my capabilities with moving the pencil around a page, a brush on a canvas, even my ability to manueve my vehicle, all of that had improved, something I considered impossible.

Further still, it seemed I could focus on it and the mark would respond, allowing me to perceive what be in the surroundings in a slower vantage, allowing me to act faster to my benefit. It is no doubt to me, that this new gift will be instrumental in my survival going forward. With the powers I've been gaining and that I now wield, I have no doubt that the day of reconing will come for ArchAngel, and the harbinger of their doom will be named Angelo.
