Enhancements, Drawbacks, and Parameters offer unique bonuses and penalties that can fundamentally change the behavior of your Power. Use them to achieve your desired effect.
Every Power costs Gifts. Taking an Enhancement or increasing a Parameter costs a Gift, while adding a Drawback or decreasing a Parameter credits a Gift. All newly-created Powers must cost one Gift, but you may use Gifts from future Games to improve them.
Use the Power’s Description to flavor your Power as desired. Descriptions may have an impact on gameplay, but they should not significantly expand or restrict the capabilities of your Power. All Powers are obviously supernatural unless the Base Power states otherwise or the “Concealed” Enhancement is taken.
Note: The Power System makes it easy to create balanced Powers, but the same freedom that empowers its flexibility can be abused to create broken, “min-maxy” Powers. Save the powergaming for the Games themselves, and endeavor to create balanced, flavorful Powers.
All new Powers should be approved by your Cell’s Leader before you use them in a Game. Read the Player’s Guide article on Powers for more information.
