Description

By focusing on a blue rock of any kind, Vergil has managed to go beyond simply allowing himself to allow Odessa to go into the realm of dreams. The colors resonation allowing him to delve deep into the dream state and connect himself to it in ways he'd once thought impossible. Though, with only partial success so far. melding his mind and body parts into the realm of dreams he can become nigh invisible, blending into the world around him and allowing him to evade standard detection methods and even operate in combat, stranger still the partial merging that he performs also seems to prevent any sound from escaping the dreamscape either. Though, bringing his body back into reality is a taxing process and one that leaves him feeling drained for a moment once it's done.

System

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to obscure yourself. You and any clothes or equipment you are wearing are obscured from Vision for 1 Minute. You cannot re-cast this Power until 1 Hour has elapsed. Entering Combat or being injured ends the effect early.

All mundane attempts to detect you via Vision fail, unless you chose vision. In that case, others must roll to detect you, and all attempts to detect you via mundane means are rolled at +2 Difficulty.

GMs should use their discretion when determining the exact effects of this Power. Standing still against a complex background may render you impossible to detect, and footprints in snow may make it easy. A chance to detect you is not guaranteed.


Enhancements

  • Additional Sense (You are concealed from an additional sense)
    • Chosen Sense - Hearing

  • Combat Stealth (This Effect does not end early when you activate an obvious Effect, attack, or receive an Injury.)

Drawbacks

  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)
    • Object - A blue rock
  • Draining (After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.)
