Legacy Power: Poke's Gift

"Is that a monstrous tentacle leg in your pants or are you just happy to see me?"

A 1 Gift Extra Appendage Power created by Hawful.

Description

Poke has headed the call of the traveler and taken on a more active role.

As long as Reuben has the bag, Poke will extend an appendage down to grant Reuben the ability to walk "normally" once more. The appendage only operates if poke is nearby.

System

Your Extra Appendage functions either as a replacement body part or a standard humanoid arm and hand. Any Battle Scars on your Extra Appendage, including its complete loss, can be healed over one Downtime.

If your Extra Appendage acts as an additional limb instead of a replacement, you do not need to re-roll to maintain a successful grapple. Instead, your previous Outcome can be reused each Round until the grapple is broken.

This Power is passive and always in effect.

Enhancements

  • Sticky Grip (You may dedicate your extra Quick Action to contest any attempt to escape your Grapples. If you do so, you roll your full dice pool to contest and retain your Action.)
  • Pseudopod (Your appendage is capable of bending and squishing in normally-impossible ways. It may fit through any gap that is not water-tight and retain its functionality.)
  • Reach (Your appendages can reach an additional 30 feet.)

Drawbacks

  • Monstrous (Possessing this Power causes a mutation that elicits a strong, negative social response from the average person in your setting. The mutation is visible even if you are wearing long sleeves, pants, and shoes. Maximum one per Contractor.)
    • Mutation - Big black tentacle leg
  • Focus (Using this Effect requires a specific kind of item.)
    • Object - Must have his bag on him
  • Unique Focus (This Power takes the form of a specific, unique item, which can be borrowed, lost, or stolen. You must use / wear this item as intended to use this Power.)
    • Focus - The Bag Poke
