GA5-1921 House Rules

• Under Contract: Gifts may only be acquired by Contractors by signing contracts with Djinn or Handlers and completing Contracts. Otherwise, they must be the result of curses, faith or other forms of occult worship/circumstance. If acquired by happenstance before Contracts, this must be explained or elaborated upon. In addition, Gifts must fall under a similar theme or concept, generally. 
• Invoke the Contract!: Each player may, once per Contract, reduce the Difficulty of a roll by 2 by specifying an aspect or term of their contract narratively to the GM which would grant them authority in this case and gain their Handler's assistance. However, if this is not convincing to the GM, they may increase the Difficulty of a subsequent roll by a number befitting the severity of their failed invocation. This invocation can also levy other benefits, such as pacts with Handlers, though they ideally impose a heavy toll on the Contractor. 
• More Bonuses!: Bonuses to the same dice pool do stack, unless granted by the same Effect. 
• I'm Willing to Survive: Will to Survive can reduce Injuries to any Severity with no minumum (for example, reducing a Severity 7 Injury down to a Severity 2).
• Fine Print: When creating Gifts, the boundaries between Newbie, Novice and Seasoned assets can vary, for example Fire Immunity in Inhuman Physiology. In addition, for form-fillable aspects of Effects, for the sake of concept, exact limits in Extended Text can be shirked in favour of something more fun. All alterations must be approved by at least 2 somewhat experienced GMs (10+ Contracts run), before confirmation. These Assets or changes may not apply if Ported to another playgroup.
