Circumstances describe your situation.
Examples include enemies, wealth, notoriety, social status, contacts, fame, and imprisonment.
Because each Playgroup has its own setting, Circumstances record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
Conditions describe your state of being.
Examples of Conditions include curses, diseases, and impactful personality quirks.
Conditions are granted by Assets and Liabilities or by GMs based on the events of Contracts and Downtime activities like Moves, and Loose Ends.
Because Conditions may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
Loose Ends will cause problems for you if you don't tie them up.
Examples of Loose Ends include enemies, debts, evidence, and promises.
All Loose Ends have a Cutoff that counts down each time you attend a Contract. When it hits zero, the Threat of your Loose End manifests, causing issues for your Contractor.
You cannot see the current values of your Loose Ends' Cutoffs, but you can take initiative and make Moves on your Downtimes to deal with them before time runs out.

Daniel "Chainboy" Mills received his nickname in the army when he was 18. He was known for being proficient with knots, chains, locks, and anything you could tie someone up with. Chainboy is a sturdy young man, very well built and wears the same thing he's been wearing since he joined the army; black tank top, camo cargo pants, black socks, army boots and a windbreaker. Chainboy was a very successful medic in the military, one of the best they'd ever seen. He was known for being extremely good under pressure, and could sew any wound up in 30 seconds flat. When he was about 23, the russian military kidnapped him and told him the only way he'd ever be able to see his wife again was if he snooped for them, and so thats what he did. For 5 years, he was an informant for the russians, telling them every single movement that happened. He become very good at the rigamaroll, until he was found out. He was kicked out of the military, luckily given no jail time as a reward for the good work he'd done, but forever known as the snitch. Everywhere he goes, military men know him as "Snitchboy". But this doesn't phase him, because all he ever wanted to do was heal people in the first place. Unfortunately, the only person who he couldn't heal was his wife, who died in a very suspicious drunk driving incident shortly after he was found out as an informant. Ever since her accident, he's been searching for anyway he can heal people; volunteering for the red cross who rejected him, volunteering for Doctors without Borders who rejected him, finding anything he can do, but left and right he cannot escape his informant past.
