Tay was born in the Andromeda Galaxy, at 3.18113932x10^10 AES, they didn't always look the way they do now, they used to be much more animal like, back when still growing in their chamber. Tay was part of an abandoned colony that had many experimental pieces and many left behind chambers, with incomplete forms. intergalactic fugitive and thief, Pearson, had taken a time stone from the republic and intended to do what they had been too scared to do, give it a proper field test and explore time. He grabbed a subject that would come to be known as tay, and fitted them with leftover augmentations and robotics, do to the nature of the tests and the state Tay was left in, their arm would need replaced, Pearson took this opportunity to integrate the stone with Tay and despite all odds it worked, and Tay was officially born to the form they would be in when they came to earth, Pearson, managed to get Tay away to the milky way using another technology, a conjoined, hyperspace ship, much less experimental, but still stolen, and managed to get Tay to the Milkyway Galaxy, to start the experiment, and that experiment was a success, after some adjustments. Pearson still exists somewhere in the Milkyway in some time, but he has been separated from Tay, who's ship crashed on earth. Not long after the crash, a mysterious benefactor saved Tay, but had to leave behind valuable pieces, do to the state they were in. Everything else was taken by either the government or by scavengers who got there first. This Benefactor, who hasn't revealed his Identity to Tay, has set Tay up with everything they need, save an identity, which will take a little more work. Tay does know the person who funded this endeavor though, a Wealthy individual, named Arthor. Arthor has also offered Tay a place to live in his guest room and is very aware of them being not exactly human. Tay has been granted leave however, with being contacted by the Contract.
Tay's concept is unusual; essentially they are a fox-cyborg-alien from a different time and a different space who crashed in some rich dude's yard and got surgery, extensively, to look like a person. They, for appearance's sake, look like a guy who is wearing a strange rave-mask; underneath clothing they are horrifically scarred, are still hairy in some places (from fur), and are otherwise obviously unusual beneath their clothes.
