Maxim Markov believed himself a hero, he was in the infancy of his hero career and it began with policing two rather young men to keep themselves together... he kept them safe, or tried to, even when they wouldn't (or didn't have to) ask.

Unfortunately, he couldn't protect them from each other as he bled out next to their bloody piles.

Maxim Markov is a Sentinel of the worlds peoples who will risk his life to Protect those who need to be protected, as he failed once and never will again.

He is 28 years old, and often appears as An office worker in a way too tight suit, with shorter hair.

    You have an arsenal of a specific type of illegal weaponry or extremely rare and dangerous items. This does not include weapons of mass destruction, tanks, or assault helicopters. During a Downtime, you may obtain up to three items from your stockpile.

    Tough You can function under intense pain. Dice penalties from pain are reduced by 2. This includes Body penalty.
    Bounce Back You heal incredibly quickly. Whenever one of your severe Injuries is Properly Stabilized, reduce its Severity by 1. Your stabilized Injuries heal 4 Severity levels per month instead of the standard 2.
    Deep Sleeper You require more sleep than most people, and are quick to fall asleep but slow to wake up. All attempts to put you to sleep succeed automatically. A full restful sleep requires at least 10 hours of sleep. Attempts to wake you up while sleeping, as well as Perception checks you make while you’re sleeping, are at +2 difficulty.
    Pack Beast You're built to carry and haul. You can carry 25 pounds per point of Brawn without being encumbered instead of the usual 15.
    Fragile You're emotionally fragile, and very likely to be mentally and emotionally scarred by your experiences. You have four Limits, instead of the usual three.
    Paranoia You have a natural distrust of everyone around you, and are always on edge looking for threats. You must roll Self Control in order to let another person remain in a position where they could easily hurt you, or to allow someone else to perform a task which is necessary to keep yourself safe. If you fail, you may Exert your Mind to overcome your fear.
    Nightmares: Losing those you currently care about Your sleep is plagued with horrible nightmares. At the start of each Contract and each time you fall asleep, make a Self-Control roll. If you fail, you take one Mind damage.
