Marcelino Riego is a charismatic pathfinder who will risk his life to become a model citizen and to find a better calling as a normal citizen of the ascendancy, raising himself above the lowlifes of the underground.

He is 31 years old, lives in whatever quarters the ascendancy provides, and often appears as a 6 feet tall esperian man sporting a moustache and a carefully combed hair, with a loosely worn pathfinder uniform and a smile on his face.

Vengeful An insult to or an attack on your person simply cannot be tolerated. Each time someone wrongs you or disrespects you in a major way, you must succeed a Self-Control roll to resist taking revenge.
Compulsive Liar You have trouble with honesty and generally find it much easier and safer to make things up. Any time you are asked about yourself, or are offering information about yourself, you must succeed a Self-Control roll in order to tell the truth. If you are ever caught in a lie, you must Exert your Mind in order to come clean; otherwise you must attempt to justify the initial lie with more lies.
Beautiful You're quite the specimen! Rolls where your good looks could help are at -2 Difficulty, and social interactions should be role-played accordingly.
Focused You are able to remain focused despite your circumstances and surroundings. Any Mind Penalty you have is reduced by 2.

Biography

Marcelino Riego is an Esperian immigrant whom, looking for a better life, came to the ascendancy several years ago. After holding a job at a laundromat for the first couple of years, then becoming a chef for a restaurant in the periphery of the capital, and finally becoming a pub bouncer for a brief period of time. The decadence and abject poverty that surrounded him in the underworld of the ascendancy certainly made him friends in low places, but wating to break the circle of poverty he inhabited in, decided that it was time to follow a higher calling, joining the pathfinder corps, and hopefully climbing the social ladder.
