Henry Edward Tavel is a 20-year-old photographer who enjoys observing the world around him with his camera, especially the supernatural, to which he posts videos and pictures of on his blog, which is called: "The Spectator's Findings".
Henry is observant and soft-spoken when he speaks, but becomes obsessive when the supernatural is present, as he tries to snap a picture or video.
He is American. He started studying computing at Arkansas State University Mountain but suddenly quit once he directly encountered a supernatural being in the form of a fairy. That was when he took his first picture for his blog and became a photographer.
Physically, Henry is in good shape. He is average-height with pale skin, black hair, and brown eyes.
He grew up in a middle class neighborhood. His parents separated when he was small, but remained friends and provided a happy, stable home.
He is a frequenter to a cult called "The Red Creed" that a woman named Lydria Morgan Parker leads. Lydia is the same age as him and works as an IT technician when she isn't performing cult activities.
Henry has a few friends whom he occasionally interacts with.
His best friend, Xavier Simpson is a Sales Assistant at an office supply store, and they get along well enough. They have known each other since middle school and have each been to a single one of the other's birthday parties, and then decided that birthday parties sucked, and they would instead go out for dinner and then play videogames online.
Henry also knows a pair of nerds at his local book store by the names of Timothy Walker and Brooklyn Graham. They try their best to keep Henry involved in a table-top RPG campaign they play by giving him one-shot roles as various characters, but Henry is often busy with "work". They only know Henry from the book store, although one of them secretly follows his blog about the supernatural and is curious as to how he can find the supernatural so frequently.
