Circumstances describe your situation.
Examples include enemies, wealth, notoriety, social status, contacts, fame, and imprisonment.
Because each Playgroup has its own setting, Circumstances record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
Conditions describe your state of being.
Examples of Conditions include curses, diseases, and impactful personality quirks.
Conditions are granted by Assets and Liabilities or by GMs based on the events of Contracts and Downtime activities like Moves, and Loose Ends.
Because Conditions may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.
Loose Ends will cause problems for you if you don't tie them up.
Examples of Loose Ends include enemies, debts, evidence, and promises.
All Loose Ends have a Cutoff that counts down each time you attend a Contract. When it hits zero, the Threat of your Loose End manifests, causing issues for your Contractor.
You cannot see the current values of your Loose Ends' Cutoffs, but you can take initiative and make Moves on your Downtimes to deal with them before time runs out.

Hunter Harley is an egomaniacal playboy, who thoroughly believes himself better than others. He lives in a modern style lodge on the north of Yreka, Jefferson, and his house is filled with paintings of himself. His wardrobe is stocked in nice tailor-made suits and expensive accessories. He dabbles a bit in stocks, but makes big money in underground fights. He's gone undefeated, and every new fight makes him seem more superhuman than the last and only adds to his narcissistic impulses. Unfortunately this also means he doesn't take to haters well, and more than a few trashtalkers have been sent to the hospital. He meets the Harbinger after one particularly onesided fight. On his way back to the locker room, he's stopped by a man. The man says to him "This fights just get easier and easier don't they? Isn't it time for a real challenge, with real rewards? You may be only human in the flesh right now, but work with me, and we may just might fix that." and hands Hunter a contract. Hunter signs his name on the contract with the blood of his freshly beaten opponent.
