Kennedy Murdoch is a freelance investigator who will risk his life to become the ultimate professional investigator of unusual cases and track down any unnatural culprits and put an end to groups,or organisations of human eating monsters.

Movement

Actions

Attack with your weapon or hands.
Evade by rolling to Defend or Dodge. Your Outcome is "spent" to reduce the Outcome of any incoming attacks until your next Action.
Activate a Power or use an Ability as normal.
Hold your Action by declaring an Action and a triggering event. If the event occurs before your turn on the next Round, you perform the Action.

Reactions

Dodge by rolling Dexterity + Athletics ( dice) Difficulty 6. Your Outcome is subtracted from the attacker's.
Defend with your weapon by rolling its attack roll. Your Outcome is subtracted from the attacker's. Availability depends on weapon match-up (tap/hover).
Clash with the attacker using the same roll you would use to Defend. The higher Outcome (not contested) is treated as the result of a successful, undefended attack roll against the loser.

Desperate Defense

If you have already used your Action, you may Exert your Mind to perform a Reaction. Your next Round's Action receives a -2 dice penalty. You cannot Clash as a Desperate Defense.

Will to Survive

Once per Contract, you may reduce the severity of an incoming Injury up to 4 Severity levels (to a minimum of Severity 4). You take a point of Mind damage and suffer a Major Battle Scar that lingers after the Injury is healed, even with proper Stabilization.

If an attack's Outcome is positive after defense, it results in a new Injury with Severity = Outcome + Weapon damage - Armor

An Outcome of 1 or greater will Stabilize the Injury and stop its degradation.
Outcome 4+ puts the Injury on track to heal clean: its Battle Scar heals with it.
On a Botch, the Injury's Severity increases by 1.
Failed or Botched attempts may be re-attempted at +1 Difficulty per failure.

Makeshift Stabilization

Attempt a major treatment using insufficient or improvised medical equipment.

Roll Intellect + Medicine, Difficulty > Severity

Outcome 1+ will Stabilize the Injury and stop its degradation.
However, any Outcome less than 4 increases the Injury’s Severity by 1. Botches also worsen its Battle Scar.
Regardless of Outcome, any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will persist after it is fully healed.
Failed or Botched attempts may be retried at +1 Difficulty per failure.

Self-stabilization attempts are rolled at +1 Difficulty.

Biography

[I have been a fighter since I was a kid,always getting in trouble or fights just to keep me and friends feed,as the years went by me and my small group got ourselves in some more "organised" troubles, "go there, Rob this,find that guy make him pay his bills" the usual stuff,and before I knew it, me and the others were thugs doing favors for who paid more.

Even if things got bad back then I never allowed myself to cross a line,many called me soft because of this heh...but the worst came in later.

One night,me and my boys were tasked with a valuable job,sneak in,get whatever is valuable and bounce,but that night I learned...that there were worst things than being hungry,getting caught by something even hungrier.

My crew,the security staff,we were nothing but a buffet to whatever the hell was lurking there,I was the only one who escaped,not unscathed.

The ones who found me bleeding on a alley were just regular cops,wich I once hated when I was young,after I changed my way of life and dedicated myself to end whatever Twisted beings are lurking out in the night, because we are not their food.]
