Steven Armstrong
Don't fuck with THIS Senator!

A Newbie Contractor played by curbeye in Daikatana

Steven Armstrong is a senator who will risk his life to become a harbinger of chaos and bring about societal revolution and envision a world reshaped according to their radical ideals. Strong individuals reign supreme over the world.

He is 50 years old, lives in a Colonial-styled house within Colorado, and often appears as an incredibly buff middle-aged man standing at 6'7'' wearing 90's era office attire. Slim glasses continue to slide down his nose, and he continually pushed them up with his large middle finger. A small mole rests above his right eyebrow and sits just below his large forehead. His face his clean-shaven, and a butt-chin is prominently displayed to the world. He has short, combed black hair which contains small white hairs in it.

Steven Armstrong lives in Daikatana, a setting where crisis precipitates change.

Circumstances

Circumstances describe your situation.

Examples include enemies, wealth, notoriety, social status, contacts, fame, and imprisonment.

Because each Playgroup has its own setting, Circumstances record the Playgroup they were acquired in.

Finances: Rich
From Assets and Liabilities
You are absolutely loaded. You have access to $1,000,000 (or equivalent currency) per Contract. Note that moving vast sums of money quickly or discreetly is not always possible.

Conditions

Conditions describe your state of being.

Examples of Conditions include curses, diseases, and impactful personality quirks.

Conditions are granted by Assets and Liabilities or by GMs based on the events of Contracts and Downtime activities like Moves, and Loose Ends.

Because Conditions may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.

From Assets and Liabilities
Nightmares: America NOT being great Your sleep is plagued with horrible nightmares. At the start of each Contract and each time you fall asleep, make a Self-Control roll. If you fail, you take one Mind damage.
Lanky You are particularly tall and have long limbs. Your "touch" range is ten feet instead of the standard five.
Tough You can function under intense pain. Stress from Injuries is reduced by 2.
Born Runner You are built specifically for running. +5 feet of free Movement, +2 dice to all-out sprint rolls.

Loose Ends

Loose Ends will cause problems for you if you don't tie them up.

Examples of Loose Ends include enemies, debts, evidence, and promises.

All Loose Ends have a Cutoff that counts down each time you attend a Contract. When it hits zero, the Threat of your Loose End manifests, causing issues for your Contractor.

You cannot see the current values of your Loose Ends' Cutoffs, but you can take initiative and make Moves on your Downtimes to deal with them before time runs out.
