Actions

Attack with your weapon or hands.
Evade by rolling to Defend or Dodge. Your Outcome is "spent" to reduce the Outcome of any incoming attacks until your next Action.
Activate a Power or use an Ability as normal.
Hold your Action by declaring an Action and a triggering event. If the event occurs before your turn on the next Round, you perform the Action.

Reactions

Dodge by rolling Dexterity + Athletics ( dice) Difficulty 6. Your Outcome is subtracted from the attacker's.
Defend with your weapon by rolling its attack roll. Your Outcome is subtracted from the attacker's. Availability depends on weapon match-up (tap/hover).
Clash with the attacker using the same roll you would use to Defend. The higher Outcome (not contested) is treated as the result of a successful, undefended attack roll against the loser.

Desperate Defense

If you have already used your Action, you may Exert your Mind to perform a Reaction. Your next Round's Action receives a -2 dice penalty. You cannot Clash as a Desperate Defense or React more than once to a given Action.

Will to Survive

Once per Contract, you may reduce the severity of an incoming Injury up to 5 Severity levels (to a minimum of Severity 5). You also take a point of Mind Damage and suffer a Battle Scar as normal.

If an attack's Outcome is positive after defense, it results in a new Injury with Severity = Outcome + Weapon damage - Armor

Makeshift Stabilization

Attempt a major treatment using insufficient or improvised medical equipment.

Roll Intellect + Medicine, Difficulty > Severity

Outcome 1+ will Stabilize the Injury and stop its degradation.
However, any Outcome less than 4 increases the Injury’s Severity by 1. Botches also worsen its Battle Scar if it caused one.

Failed or Botched attempts may be retried at +1 Difficulty per failure.

Biography

Lily Moon Saehee is a young Korean woman and very much a workaholic. She lives in a humble apartment in Oakridge, Vancouver, with a bunch of roommates who are acquaintances at best with her. She's a certified EMT, a barista at an overpriced bubble tea shop in the city, and a full-time nursing student, so she's got a lot on her plate, but she considers this workload lighter than what she used to do before. Both of her parents were dead by the time she turned 18, so she's been the sole guardian and financial support of her 18y/o brother Luke ever since.

If you know about Lily's profession, you basically know everything about her. She was thrust into the role of the adult so quickly that this duty of keeping what family she has left alive is the only thing she knows. She doesn't have many relationships with others, neither does she have particular interests. Part of her genuinely likes the grind of working, the other part of her uses her stress from work as a distraction. She used to just take up whatever pretty job would make her enough money, but in recent years she's really pivoted towards more healthcare-oriented jobs.

She's seen shit in her life, and the accumulation of shit she's seen birthed her ambition to rid the world of all pain and suffering. It birthed her desire to be an empath so she could instantly know exactly what and how people felt, without having to make the effort to communicate. Maybe that way, she could have genuine relationships with people. Maybe she could actually have any semblance of a bond with her own brother.

If God wasn't going to heal the wounds He'd promised to in writing, then it would be up to her to fulfill it.
