Conditions are granted by Assets and Liabilities or by GMs based on the events of Contracts and Downtime activities like Moves, and Loose Ends.

Because Conditions may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.

Sensitive You're emotionally fragile, and very likely to be mentally and emotionally scarred by your experiences. You have four Limits, instead of the usual three.
Giftless: Existing You have some pressing issue which forces you to spend your rewards from Contracts on simple survival. You cannot receive Gifts, or spend Gift or Improvement points.
Beautiful You're quite the specimen! Rolls where your good looks could help– be it via sexual attraction, first impression, or trustworthiness– are at -2 Difficulty. Social interactions should be role-played accordingly. Effect activations are unaffected.
Clear Conscience You have a special knack for shrugging off traumatic experiences. All Trauma rolls you make are -1 Difficulty, and Stress does not apply.

Loose Ends

Loose Ends will cause problems for you if you don't tie them up.

Examples of Loose Ends include enemies, debts, evidence, and promises.

All Loose Ends have a Cutoff that counts down each time you attend a Contract. When it hits zero, the Threat of your Loose End manifests, causing issues for your Contractor.

You cannot see the current values of your Loose Ends' Cutoffs, but you can take initiative and make Moves on your Downtimes to deal with them before time runs out.

Biography

Samantha was born to Harvey and Jane Allen in Arkham. She has two older brothers, and a younger brother and two sisters. Her family gets along pretty well together, even if they're not particularly well off.

Her father is a police detective, and has instilled in Samantha a degree of talent for investigation. He also gave his oldest daughter some training with a pistol and one, to ensure she's safe.

Her mother is... a mother - keeping a household with six children is more than a full time job.

She's a brilliant girl, graceful, perceptive. Her father's stories have made her a little more aware of how easy it is to die, though.

She gets her allowance - 100 dollars a month - although she spends some of it during the month, so she's never quite sure how much she has in her pocket.
