A Newbie Contractor played by geniebottle in GA5-1921

Asakawa Hitomi is a doppelganger who will risk her life to become a popular idol and replace 'her duplicate'.

Asakawa Hitomi lives in GA5-1921, a setting where the paranormal work for the government.

    Circumstances

    Circumstances describe your situation.

Examples include enemies, wealth, notoriety, social status, contacts, fame, and imprisonment.

Because each Playgroup has its own setting, Circumstances record the Playgroup they were acquired in.

    Finances: Poor
    From Assets and Liabilities
You are completely incapable of holding onto money. You start each Contract with 1d10 x10 dollars in cash.
    Imprisoned: Prison
    From Assets and Liabilities
You are trapped inside some form of prison or cage, and are only released temporarily to attend Contracts. At the end of each Contract, you will be returned to your prison. Your ability to do Crafting, make Moves, improve Abilities, and maintain a consistent inventory, are all significantly restricted, and you must get GM approval to attempt any of these things.
Famous: Looks Exactly Like Asakawa Hitomi
    From Assets and Liabilities
You are well-known and generally well-liked by the general public. You may easily communicate a message via the media during a Downtime, and you may receive preferential treatment from NPCs at the GM's discretion.

    Conditions

Conditions describe your state of being.

Examples of Conditions include curses, diseases, and impactful personality quirks.

Conditions are granted by Assets and Liabilities or by GMs based on the events of Contracts and Downtime activities like Moves, and Loose Ends.

Because Conditions may have GM-created systems, they also record the Playgroup they were acquired in.

    From Assets and Liabilities
Giftless: maintaining your body. As you failed to kill your duplicate, your body slowly deteriorates and must be kept alive supernaturally. You have some pressing issue which forces you to spend your rewards from Contracts on simple survival. You cannot receive Gifts, or spend Gift or Improvement points.
Clear Conscience You have a special knack for shrugging off traumatic experiences. All Trauma rolls you make are -1 Difficulty, and Stress does not apply.
Jaded You are difficult to disturb, perhaps because of a traumatic past, or perhaps you're just emotionally detached. You only have two Limits, instead of the normal three.
Immutable Body Your body is naturally resistant to being reshaped or permanently damaged. You may Exert your Mind to negate any effect that would transform your body against your will (including the Warp Form Effect). All Battle Scars you would receive are one level less severe.
Light Sleeper You are able to function with less sleep than most people. You need only four hours of sleep per night, and any supernatural attempts to put you to sleep are rolled at +1 Difficulty.
Additional Language: English You are fluent in an additional language You can speak, read, and write in the chosen language. You may be given a roll to decipher some amount of meaning from a related language at the GMs discretion.
Supernatural Condition You have some unique supernatural affliction or curse due to your heritage or background. Doppelganger: Your appearance changes to mostly match that of your counterpart. Hair extensions put in may appear as new streaks, plastic surgery may result in painful shifting of the bones. Your counterpart suffering any Injuries results in you suffering an Injury of the same nature half as Severe, and your body mimics any scars. You also become aware of significant events happening in their life, and can make a Difficulty 6 Mind roll to read their surface thoughts or learn details about their life. If they receive any Traumas, you must also succeed on a Trauma roll to avoid gaining that Trauma. If this Trauma was caused by you, or if this Trauma roll is as a result of breaking a Limit you do not have, you do not need to make this roll.

    Loose Ends

Loose Ends will cause problems for you if you don't tie them up.

Examples of Loose Ends include enemies, debts, evidence, and promises.

All Loose Ends have a Cutoff that counts down each time you attend a Contract. When it hits zero, the Threat of your Loose End manifests, causing issues for your Contractor.

You cannot see the current values of your Loose Ends' Cutoffs, but you can take initiative and make Moves on your Downtimes to deal with them before time runs out.
