The son of an unknown noble, forcing himself onto a peasant woman and proclaiming her his lover. The woman had no choice, for she was poor. The child was born, and the child was given a name, one assigned by the father. The mother cherished the child and gave it another name, the child preferred, Johan, the father cared not, beating the woman and the child for the slightest inconvenience, starving and locking the boy away if he dared to talk back. From this, the child learn to eat as much as he can, not worrying about the taste of certain things and just having enough to survive another day. The mother did not fight back, hoping this was his way of showing love, tough love perhaps; the son could not fight back, for it would break the mother's heart. Soon, the mother became ill and frail, and the father grew more and more distant, having found another lover. The son was made to make a promise, to never take the name he was given and run away; if he did, he would live as he chose. He accepted. Soon, the mother passed, and knowing her child had no chance to live a safe life, gifted his son a few things, money to live and... Something else.

He owns many small businesses that sell simple primary resources, like bread and vegetables, as well as smaller butcheries and things of that nature.
