"Wude" (武德) is a Chinese term meaning "martial morality" or "martial virtue". It refers to the ethical code and character traits expected of a martial artist, encompassing both their conduct within the martial arts community and their behavior in daily life.
Wude was born in China in 1948, he spent his time growing up there and training in martial arts. He soon came to love the style of Pak Mei and devoted his life to it, as he got older, many think he's gotten slower and weaker. But it is quite the opposite, Wude is in his prime and in recent years has passed his love for Pak Mei on to the younger generations, teaching them masterfully and earning the title of Sifu. But his lessons were not just about kung fu, they were about responsibility, respect, and honor; they were about standing up for what is right in this broken world.
When Wude or "Sifu" as he was called by his students heard about the gate being opened he knew what had to be done. While others laughed it off as "Just a hoax" and "Just something the Americans are doing." He knew, he knew there was people in need of help, people who couldn't stand up for themselves. So he packed up, leaving behind friends and family students and brethren, all for the sake of fighting the good fight, for standing up for what's right.
Because if not him, then who?
