When turned and twisted the right way, this Aztec relic releases a swarm of flying, pyromaniac sparks, lighting a fire wherever they land.
If turned another way, the Firehive will turn nearby fires into the sparks, raising them up to burn something else within reach.
Spend an Action. Select a target within arm's reach which has both fuel and oxygen available (if you are starting a new fire).
You may start a new fire as large as a fire in a residential fireplace at your target. You may create fires the size of a lighter or candle flame without Exerting your Mind. Your fires require fuel and oxygen in order to continue burning.
Lighting a target on fire deals 3 Damage per Round, starting in the Round after the one in which they caught fire. This Damage is reduced by Armor, but the target’s Armor rating will be depleted by any Damage dealt, destroying the Armor once it reaches 0.
You may extinguish flames as a Reaction. This does not extend to explosives.
You may spend a Free Action on your initiative move a fire as large as a fire in a residential fireplace that is within arm's reach to another location within arm's reach. You may Exert your Mind to draw a line which a fire up to twice as large as a fire in a residential fireplace cannot cross.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The suit is functionally bulletproof. Repeated strikes do weaken the threads, but the fibres manage to reassemble themselves after a short period of rest.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You have 9 Armor, which only reduces damage taken from bullets. Any armor piercing effects from bullets are ignored. Armor from multiple sources does not stack. Called Shots may circumvent your Armor, depending on its coverage.
Any time your Armor prevents damage, your total Armor rating is temporarily decreased by 1. Whenever you go two Rounds without preventing any damage, it is restored back to its full value.
The suit accelerates the wearer’s healing processes.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
Any Injury you receive from a source other than blunt weapons heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every 10 minutes. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active automatically count as a successful Proper Stabilization and do not deteriorate further. Any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will heal with the Injury.
You may Exert your Mind and spend an Action to reduce the Severity of one of your Injuries by 1. Does not affect Injuries suffered as an activation cost for Effects.
Once an Injury has been reduced in Severity by two levels, it no longer benefits from this effect and instead heals as normal.
Injuries you receive from blunt weapons are increased in Severity by 1.
Isaac tosses a baseball up into the air before smacking it with with his bat, sending it flying towards his target, with the damage delt popping up before vanishing. If the attack does no damage or the roll is botched, the attack still hits visually but instead of damage, "missed" pops up.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action. Select a target within 50 feet. Roll Brawn + Melee Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4.
If the target receives an Injury, they are knocked back 5 * Severity feet.
Bankston raises the ornate scales high, uttering a commanding language reminiscent of a judge laying out a judgment. With a deft motion, he positions nettle and Mugwort leaves on opposite sides of the scales, Flames igniting on there own. The flames dance with hues of dark red and bright purple, casting flickering shadows. As Bankston gazes into the flames, visions of past crimes materialize before him. the flames surge forth, Painfully searing into his eyes and imprinting an awareness of his prey and their victims.
By intentionally criminal beings i mean to target beings that have an activate understanding and engagement with society and laws, they just chose to break those laws anyways.
Victims of crimes i mean individuals who are actively having a crime committed against them. some one being attacked in the streets, or kidnapped, or just got robbed an hour ago. People are not Victims forever.
Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Balancing the scales, and lighting the plants on flame on either side.. You must use up nettle and Mugwort leaves in order to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.
You automatically detect all Victims of crimes and intentionally criminal beings within 10 miles of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
You learn basic information about why each detected being is being detected. For example, if you detect Criminals, you may learn how many crimes they have committed and what type.
You receive Their scent for each being you detect.

The ward requires Concentration to monitor, though it will remain active until you deactivate it. The ward can be discovered if someone knows what they are looking for, but is otherwise inconspicuous and cannot be identified as a ward.
You may destroy the Ward to activate one Investigate Individual, >Object, or Area Effect as though you were standing at its location.
You may declare a condition to watch for on an active Ward. If it occurs, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 6, to notice it, even if you are not actively monitoring that ward.
Whenever something crosses into the observational range of the Ward, you and those you've allowed to tune in are alerted by ring tone of choice.
Your Ward records all activity it observes, regardless of whether or not you are actively monitoring it. This recording can be played back and referenced later.
You may communicate through your ward, though doing so will reveal its presence.
I raise my hand to the sky and click the side of the watch as I shout my catch phrase. The watch glows brightly as a teal coloured energy field start to form.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action or Reaction. Roll Intellect + Technology at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a Barrier extending out 15 feet from yourself, which absorbs 2 times the next Outcome + 2 Damage. Only applies to attacks which originated outside the 15 foot radius, and protects anyone who is within that radius. Any Damage absorbed by the barrier is reflected back to the attacker, up to a maximum of the Barrier Strength Parameter’s bonus. Their Armor applies in full. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. This Artifact may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.

This Artifact holds 5 times what it normally could inside of it. Objects stored inside are weightless. Unless you are storing something commonly found in coffins, this Artifact behaves as its mundane counterpart. This Effect cannot be used unless you are storing something commonly found in coffins.
Living things can be stored in this Artifact. They will have access to anything else inside and may attempt to break free, damaging or destroying the Artifact in the process.
If this Artifact is destroyed, things inside may get out, and it will cease to function until it is repaired.
When scanned or investigated without opening, the contents of this container appear normal and unremarkable.
On a Downtime, you may change this Artifact from one type of container to another. Maximum once per Downtime.
If anyone other than you opens the container, it appears empty. Others can still destroy it to get at the contents.
When Winter Fang's glittering string is drawn, an ice arrow crystalizes nocked and ready to fire. These ice arrows melt quickly after piercing their foes, leaving deadly wounds instead of evidence.
This Artifact can be used as a bow. It is roughly at least twice as large as a bow and cannot be concealed on your person or disassembled for storage.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +3 Weapon Damage. Attacks do not require a successful called shot to do damage.

The "Reaper" Assault Helmet is the signature piece of the Future Soldier's arsenal. It has a sleek, design and is made of a mysterious matte-metallic alloy. The wearer's face is exposed normally, but when activated, a blue holographic visor flickers to life in front of the eyes. This HUD contains information about the soldier's ammunition and shield status, but more significantly can detect enemy combatants. Anyone nearby who is holding a weapon is painted with a red dot that follows them in real time. This allows the Future Soldier to fire at painted targets in the dark, detect ambushes lurking around corners, and grants an overall tactical advantage.

The survivalist has depended on the Bug-out Bag for so long, they've formed a powerful bond with the pack. This bond renders the pack unbreakable, and grants the survivalist an understanding of what direction it's in at all times.
This Artifact cannot be broken. If this Artifact is lost and in no one else’s possession, it finds its way back to its true owner during the next Downtime.
By default, the creator of this Artifact is its true owner. The true owner may formally bequeath this Artifact onto another person within arm’s reach, after which they are its true owner. If the true owner dies or is destroyed, their ownership ends. If this Artifact has no true owner, anyone may spend one day attuning to it to become its true owner.
This Artifact's true owner is always aware of the direction and distance to this Artifact.
