I raise my hand to the sky and click the side of the watch as I shout my catch phrase. The watch glows brightly as a teal coloured energy field start to form.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action or Reaction. Roll Intellect + Technology at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a Barrier extending out 15 feet from yourself, which absorbs 2 times the next Outcome + 2 Damage. Only applies to attacks which originated outside the 15 foot radius, and protects anyone who is within that radius. Any Damage absorbed by the barrier is reflected back to the attacker, up to a maximum of the Barrier Strength Parameter’s bonus. Their Armor applies in full. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. This Artifact may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
The Dividing Line is a giant guillotine blade connected to a reinforced chain. The hunk of steel itself weighs somewhere in the ballpark of 60 lbs alone, making it impossible for all but the most brawny to consider utilizing.
Bone and blade presents little resistance when Danielle commits to an attack with this brutal weapon. An unarmored target will quickly be relieved of hands and feet from even a glancing blow. The opposite end of the weapon is a chain that can be used to deflect bullets with a few flicks of her wrists. Such a giant weapon would prove impossible to conceal if it weren’t for its resting state; the weapon compresses itself into a cute guillotine choker at Danielle’s will, giving her respite of its oppressive weight.
This Artifact can be used as a great sword / giant axe. It is roughly the same size as a great sword / giant axe but can be collapsed into a metal guillotine choker. and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.

The Buntech carrot has an orange barrel laser-engraved to look like a carrot. Its grips and hammer are green like foliage. One of the demon Alpha's blood arts. Salvaged from his body after he was slain by supernatural forces, and given to Vergil by Sister Mary Catherine. Though Vergil is loathe to use such dark power, he understands that such things are better put to use in his hands than in that of evil, and if a little blood could save someone's life his morals are not something he will allow to stand in the way. The art itself creates a blood-colored cross and grants incredible sword skill as well as the ability to generate "wind blades" and when enhanced with a vial's worth of human blood allows it to deal devastating damage as it draws out the latent energy within the blood. In addition if it strikes them, the energy seems to corrode the target from the inside out as it seeps into any orifice it can find. A horrifying display to be sure, but given it's source Vergil finds it hard to be surprised.
Spend an Action to activate. Select a target within 45 feet. You must use up A vial of blood in order to activate this Effect. Roll Dexterity + Melee Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much damage plus 3. Armor is fully effective against this damage.
Injuries caused by this Effect do not heal naturally. They can be Stabilized, but will not reduce in Severity unless they are healed through an Effect or some sort of supernatural ability.
The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.
This Gift's level is capped at 2 Gifts and cannot be increased further.

Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
Standard issue in the Future Soldier's home time, the Personal Shield Generator (PSG) projects a protective energy barrier around the body. It absorbs damage far better than traditional armor, but its battery is quickly drained. When depleted, the PSG must spend a few seconds recharging.
When struck, the normally-invisible field of the PSG flashes, revealing a bright yellow honey-comb pattern encasing the body.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You have 6 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack.
Your Armor cannot be destroyed, and it always provides a minimum of 2 Armor regardless of any Armor penetration. It cannot be circumvented with Called Shots.

If the contested Outcome is positive, the most recent 1 hour from your target’s memory is either replaced with new memories or forgotten entirely. This is recorded as a Condition. The level of detail and completeness of the alteration depends on your Outcome. If you fail, the target realizes that you are attempting to alter their memories.
The period is chosen either by time (i.e. “last Friday night”) or by reference to a specific event (i.e. “when the murder occurred”).
