This is a small rivet gun implement, that injects a small Ceramic Stud into the targets spine, painlessly of course. relaying location and vitals to Devices small screen. It looks like a pail pink disk pressed against the skin.
The Screen on the Artifact shows the direction and distance to all Targets, well those targets gain a gut feeling as to where the artifact is.
The Trail is a visible Red ribbon of light left floating in the air from where the Mark target Heart or center of mass is. Marked targets are able to be "switch on" to allow them to see the trails, Cheslav having a permanent implant allowing this.
Spend an Action. Select a Animate target within arm's reach. The target may Resist.
Your target is marked with a Spinal Stud. The mark can only be discovered with a deep medical inspection or Effect. Removal inflicts a Severity 1 Injury on the target.
You are aware of the marked target's vital status, injuries, direction and distance from you. This lasts for the next month, or until either the mark is removed, or you choose to end the Effect. This Artifact can have up to 3 marks active.
You receive +2 dice to any rolls made against a marked target.
Marked targets leave a trail wherever they go that is visible only to you and those you teach to see it. This trail shows how long ago the target was there and is followable even when they are in a vehicle.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 1.
Your Marked targets are all similarly aware of your direction and distance from them while the Mark is active.
The Ichor is a dark liquid with a purplish, when the effect is activated a serpent of the liquid is jutted out of the users hand or weapon poisoning the target, The poisoned target has two puncture wounds, swelling and redness around the bite area, severe pain, nausea, difficulty breathing
-will write this later-
Exert your Mind (unless Ichor comes into contact with a bodily fluid (blood, saliva, etc)) and spend an Action. Select a Animate target within 200 feet. Roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 6. Your target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, the target is afflicted with a Condition that causes any number of the following symptoms:
The affliction is not treatable by modern medicine. It may be diagnosed by rolling Perception + Medicine at Difficulty 6, and can be cured by bloodletting or a mixture of dragon blood flower extract mixed with a dark wine and hair.
Any Scars, Traumas, or Injuries caused by your symptoms cannot be healed until the underlying Condition is cured.
You may cure any target you’ve afflicted at any range as a Quick Action.
An energy emanates from the users hand that covers the item infusing within it. And creates spiraling pattern on the item powers within it creating a purplish spiral pattern on the weapon infusing.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Select a Device within arm's reach. Can be used on Alien technology. Can be used on Armor.
Lasts the next day. Your target receives 3 extra dice to all actions taken for its intended use. Attacking with an upgraded weapon grants +3 Weapon Damage instead of additional dice. If it is a piece of Armor, it instead receives half that amount as bonus armor rating, rounded up. If an upgraded shield and armor are both worn, the upgrade bonus does not stack with itself.
Upgraded weapons count as any material your opponent might be particularly vulnerable to. Upgraded Armor cannot be circumvented by called shots. Upgraded Devices do not run out of fuel or energy.
You may choose a second valid Device target while activating this Effect and splice both targets into a single new Device. The newly created item has the same size as the larger of the two initial targets, and can be used to perform the same actions as either of the original items. It receives 3 to those actions for the next day.
Waterproof, bulletproof, and as fireproof as anything in it's category can be the hardened reinforced steel laptop weighs in at a hefty 10 lbs, but it delivers performance beyond anything else in it's category. With hardware that makes a supercomputer blush, and a petabyte of ram any system you set this bad boy to cracking will be crying for it's mother by the end of a minute. Combine that with it's built in destroyer protocol and you'll find that the devices it targets are rendered completely unusable!
Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions. Select a Device within 300 feet. Can be used on Alien technology. Roll Intellect + Technology, with the Difficulty set by the GM depending on the security of the system you are hacking. Sapient targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you may issue a single command to the targeted system. This command must have a specific outcome or be a request for specific login credentials. The command you issue must be within the machine's current capabilities. For example, you cannot order a standard security camera to grow legs and walk around.
Your command does not have to take effect immediately. Instead, upon a successful Hack, you may specify a condition under which the specified command is issued or simply suspend the Command until you desire to activate it.
If your command does not require bypassing the security of the target (for example, typing on a computer that is unlocked), you do not need to Exert your Mind to activate this Effect, and activation only takes a single Action.
When targeting non-computer devices, you may operate switches, buttons, dials, levers, and latches.
Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their mind and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Trauma: Conspiracy Nut: You believe any conspiracy theories told to you.. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next day.
Dominic furiously shouts out the activation phrase Market Crash to his keyboard and it alights, activating several defensive protocols that emerge in the form of a shimmering light blue bubble of force that encapsulates him and the area in his immediate vicinity the barrier crackling and sparking with electricity as the battery unlocks the true potential of lithium. When struck lightning arcs off the barrier as it converts the energy of the attack into a devastating retaliatory bolt ensuring that Dominic is protected from the attack and that his assailant sorely regrets targeting the man who will one day dismantle the Illuminati! Though it does burn the battery out, Dominic needs to be careful about carrying a few replacements. The Deep State loves to strike when you are at your weakest and he couldn't afford to be caught without.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. Select a Animate target within arm's reach. Roll Intellect + Technology at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around your target, which absorbs the next Outcome +6 Damage. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. This Artifact may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds. As long as it does not fall, the barrier regenerates back to full strength at the end of each Round of combat.
Anyone who touches this Artifact will notice it warping their mind and may drop it. If they choose to hold or use it, they immediately receive the following Trauma: Deep State Agent: Must make a self control roll to trust someone with his life or with details about his real identity.. If they lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next day.
Ever since the invention of powerline Ethernet adapters, Dominic has known about the wired transmission of energy being a vector for information. Now with the latest upgrade to Project Ozymandias he can now use that information in the form that it was truly intended to be use. As the great genius Nikola Tesla once posited, it is indeed possible to transmit electrical energy over the open air, and now with a few taps on his computer Dominic can broadcast a signal that much like an IMSI catcher identifies the presence of electrical impulses in the air, even ones as simple as brain activity or nerve impulses are captured as well down to even the barely perceptible impulses that travel through plants allowing him to track the illuminati's agents wherever they go.
Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 500 feet At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Technology at Difficulty 6.
You learn a single specific piece of information, chosen from the following list, about the area:
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.
The ability to travel faster than light has always been theorized. Infinite speed requires infinite energy, however, but Dominic has cracked the code! The world does not know the true source of power beneath it all, with just a simple spark from a lithium-ion battery he has engineered the ultimate method of transportation allowing you to arrive before you ever actually decided you would be there. Now activatable with a simple keyword, tachyon allows one to escape from any situation.
Exert your Mind and spend 2 Actions. Select a Location within your line of sight.
You are transported directly to the chosen Location. Anyone who is touching you as you Travel will be brought along with you. You must wait an hour before activating this effect again.
The secret of how they've maintained their power over the millenia, how their greatest technology was always a step beyond ours. At last, Dominic has discovered it. By entangling an object with it's parallel quantum state on the level of physical matter, one can ensure that both states enforce each other with the use of micro black holes to have the item repair itself faster than it can physically be destroyed. Barring weaponry that also retroactively destroys matter, as long as Project Ozymandias has been it always shall be, and now able to pull processing power from all it's possible alternate states of being the laptop bears enough processing power to go toe to toe with a datacenter.
This Artifact has been upgraded.
This Artifact receives 3 extra dice to all actions taken for its intended use. Attacking with an upgraded weapon grants +3 Weapon Damage instead of additional dice. While it is upgraded, the item cannot be destroyed.
There are no special or magical effects that come with the use of this weapon. The only standout aspect is the significant amount of the smoke, flash and sound that occurs when it is fired. From those who have heard its firing, it's comparable to the sound of thunder.
The Morrigan is an Irish war deity, said to have been made of three aspects, each having a domain centred around war, death and fate. Often represented as a raven or crow, the legends around The Morrigan has said that Morrigan has bestowed weapons of devastating power before such as the spear of Morrigan, Gae Bulg. Its worth noting that the warriors that were given these weapons were not heroes in the normal sense but rather legendary warriors known for their skill in combat, feared not only by their enemies but also their allies for their sheer brutality in war which caused all those who witnessed such battles to lose all taste in warfare.
This Artifact can be used as a handgun. It is roughly at least twice as large as a handgun and cannot be concealed on your person or disassembled for storage.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Firearms, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +4 Weapon Damage.
You also gain the following effects:
The users dominate hand has raised scarring traveling up the forearm from the wrist, the scarring taking the shape of a thick chain that ends just below the elbow. When the user takes hold of the Morrigans blessing, a metal chain materialises from where the scarring ends at the wrist and connects to the grip of the Morrigans blessing.
This Artifact cannot be broken. If this Artifact is lost and in no one else’s possession, it finds its way back to its true owner during the next Downtime.
By default, the creator of this Artifact is its true owner. The true owner may formally bequeath this Artifact onto another person within arm’s reach, after which they are its true owner. If the true owner dies or is destroyed, their ownership ends. If this Artifact has no true owner, anyone may spend one day attuning to it to become its true owner.
anyone under 58 cannot hold or use this Artifact. They take a Severity 1 Injury each Round they touch or possess of the Artifact. It cannot be prevented or healed by any means until one day after they relinquish possession.
If this Artifact is in no one else’s possession, its true owner may Exert their Mind and spend two Actions to bring it to themselves.
This Artifact's true owner must have it with them to have restful sleep. They cannot regain Mind or Source while separated from this Artifact.
Grace brings Sally out from her designated satchel and sets her in front of the dead body (or token for it). Grace’s eyes flashing red, then Sally’s, then the targets- like a chain- means the connection is successful.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action to activate. Select a Dead target of which you have a Fetter that was important to them.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
This plate armor, reminding one of a knight's, is a bit easier to maneuver in and gives off a silver glow whenever it blocks a particularly heavy shot. It loses a bit of power when the user wants to inflict damage to someone.
[This is part of "Pink Power Mode"s Uniform]
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You have 6 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack.
Your Armor cannot be destroyed, and it always provides a minimum of 2 Armor regardless of any Armor shredding or penetration. It cannot be circumvented with Called Shots. When shredded, it returns to full potency in one hour.
Your Armor’s rating is increased by 2. If you do something that Damages, restricts, or otherwise directly, negatively affects another being, your Armor’s rating is decreased by 3 for one minute. This penalty does not stack with itself.
The "Reaper" Assault Helmet is the signature piece of the Future Soldier's arsenal. It has a sleek, design and is made of a mysterious matte-metallic alloy. The wearer's face is exposed normally, but when activated, a blue holographic visor flickers to life in front of the eyes. This HUD contains information about the soldier's ammunition and shield status, but more significantly can detect enemy combatants. Anyone nearby who is holding a weapon is painted with a red dot that follows them in real time. This allows the Future Soldier to fire at painted targets in the dark, detect ambushes lurking around corners, and grants an overall tactical advantage.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action.
You automatically detect all people wielding weapons within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
The Scepter of Ang-Kapal is a gruesome device fashioned to look like a skeletal arm clutching a glass eye. When used, blood from the person holding is drawn into the eye where it swirls with dark energy. The eye turns to a nearby corpse and shudders, reviving the creature. The creature does not retain any of its memories or personality, but it is absolutely loyal to whoever is holding the scepter.
The Scepter of Ang Kepal has the unfortunate side effect of driving its owner mad.
Increase your sacrificial Injury's Severity by 1 and spend one minute. Select a Dead target within arm's reach with at least half its skeletal structure remaining. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. If you fail or Botch, you receive one Mind Damage and a new Trauma.
Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They cannot communicate. They will follow any command you speak.
The creature lasts for eight hours or until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
Destroying one of your zombies requires a called shot to the head or heart. All other Injuries zombies suffer result in Battle Scars only, limiting their mobility and effectiveness in other ways.
Your revived targets deal 2 Weapon Damage with their unarmed attacks.
If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.
The Future Soldier's PSG is capable of briefly supercharging its effectiveness with a jolt of Omega Cell energy. While active, the future soldier glows with an extremely bright golden light.
While the shield is supercharged, the Future Soldier cannot move or see the outside world, but they are completely isolated from anything that occurs outside the shield.
Expend a point of Battery and spend an Action or Reaction.
You phase out of reality for up to 4 Rounds. During this time, you cannot perceive or affect the outside world or take any Actions. You cannot move. Nothing can interact with you in any way.
When you activate this Effect, you may limit its duration to a period of your choosing. If you are able, you may also end it as a Free Action on your initiative.
You leave a golden glow shaped like yourself at your location.
When Winter Fang's glittering string is drawn, an ice arrow crystalizes nocked and ready to fire. These ice arrows melt quickly after piercing their foes, leaving deadly wounds instead of evidence.
This Artifact can be used as a bow. It is roughly at least twice as large as a bow and cannot be concealed on your person or disassembled for storage.
Attack by rolling Dexterity + Athletics, Difficulty 6. Successful attacks deal Contested Outcome +3 Weapon Damage. Attacks do not require a successful called shot to do damage.
You also gain the following effects:
The spy can do up their passport to appear as any valid form of identification.
This Artifact can change its appearance. When not transformed, it is roughly the same size as a passport but can be collapsed into a wallet and concealed. Collapsing or expanding it costs a Quick Action.
Spend a Quick Action to activate. This Artifact changes its appearance into a chosen Object. This lasts until you decide to end the Effect, which may be done as a Free Action.
The new object's appearance can mimic specific items (such as a particular painting, a certain person’s ID, etc), but must be of a similar size and weight to this Artifact.
The new appearance is illusory; it will hold up to scrutiny, but its composition is not altered and it gains no new functionality. Any attempt to use it for a function which it cannot perform (for instance, making bread look like a knife and then trying to stab someone) will cause the illusion to fail or allow a Perception check to see through the illusion, at the GM's discretion.
When used as identification and scanned, the scanner will act appropriately and bring up appropriate generic information. Further searches for the identity in the computer will turn up no results. This will not open security doors on its own.
