All of the veins visible on Carpathia's skin are a shade of deep brown and seem to meander much more than on a normal human. When taking advantage of her extended reach the roots poke out through her limbs and extend forward, affording her just as much dexterity as she would normally have.
Carpathia's heart is now a gnarled mess of roots that no longer beats, as it has no reason to. Instead it provides a constant flow of nutrients as needed. Her first step into achieving her true form.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
You are permanently and visibly transformed: Roots take the place of Carpathia's cardiovascular system. You are considered to be a Sapient, Living being when targeted. Your Dexterity is increased by 1.
Your appendages can reach an additional 30 feet.
Sometimes, when in favor of the road lady, she will give you a favor in your time of need, offering a literal hand.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action. Select a Location within 50 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless must verbally pray to the Road Spirits.. You must be in an area abundant with roads. Make a Trauma roll when you activate this Effect.

The alteration begins to form when you activate this Effect and finishes forming on your initiative in the next Round. Until it finishes forming, it is not guaranteed to function.
This alteration lasts three hours but may be prematurely destroyed or altered. Your alterations may be broken through with appropriate tools. Anyone attempting to break through must roll Brawn + a relevant Ability. A cumulative Outcome of 3 across all attempts breaks a hole large enough to move through. User grasps their hands focusing on another player or self giving healing to the targeted player in their party. User says ("Name" Live).
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend 15 minutes to activate. Choose a specific Injury on yourself that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
Arcane Opium weakens the victim mentally and physically, causes hallucinations, and does damage overtime.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute. Select a Living target within 25 feet. You must use up Money in order to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 6. Your target may resist by rolling Body at Difficulty 7.
If you succeed, the target is afflicted with a Condition that causes one of the following symptoms:
The affliction is not treatable by modern medicine. It may be diagnosed by rolling Perception + Medicine at Difficulty 6, and can be cured by Rehabilitation.
You may cure any target you’ve afflicted at any range as a Quick Action.
After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.
Jublix rips the shadow of an agonized soul from the shadow realm, and forcibly shapes their very essence into a barrier to protect themselves and others.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction to activate. Roll a single d10, Difficulty 4. If you fail or botch, the Effect fails and you cannot activate it again for an hour. Roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a Barrier extending out 15 feet from yourself, which absorbs 2 times the next Outcome Damage. Only applies to attacks which originated outside the 15 foot radius, and protects anyone who is within that radius. Half the damage absorbed is reflected back at the attacker, which they can Defend against as normal. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor, and is treated like Armor by any effects such as Armor Penetration. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
Richard has learned a few forms of martial arts, and has created his own style that allows him to redirect any attack that is sent his way.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat.
+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +0 Weapon Damage (instead of -1). The target's Armor is fully effective against this damage.
Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: weak spot on back.

While addressing a crowd, the influencer may use coded language to send secret messages to a particular person in the crowd. These messages can't be noticed or understood by anyone but the intended target.
Spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is listening and you are speaking to multiple people.
You may send a single message to your target. It can be no more complicated than a multi-page letter or a long email.
The message will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is your left hand making a fist. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The beastmaster closes their eyes and channels nature's bloody struggle for survival. When their eyes reopen, they catch the light and glow red like a dog's. While in this heightened state, they may sense heat signatures and triangulate the tiniest sound.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
Your senses are enhanced in the following way. Lasts for three hours.
Through years of practice, the mobster is able to shatter someone's kneecap without much effort.
Spend an Action. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use a melee weapon to activate this Effect. Roll Brawn + Melee at Difficulty 6. The target may roll Body, -2 dice at Difficulty 7, as a Free Action to resist.
If you succeed, the target receives a new Battle Scar of your choosing, limited by the contested Outcome:

Unimportant characters just can't seem to hit our hero with their attacks. Injuries that are sustained from underlings are conveniently non-severe.
You gain the following benefits as long as the attacker isn't important enough to have a name.
You have 4 Armor, which reduces incoming Damage. Armor from multiple sources does not stack. This Armor cannot be circumvented with Called Shots.
The detective pulls out their magnifying glass and investigates the area, learning details about any nearby structures and picking up details on what sorts of beings have passed through and when.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet You must actively and obviously use a magnifying glass to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
