The lower writes up a quick contract on a spare pen and paper and presents it to the client with a blank expression. Quickly the client signs, rhe words far too complicated to understand fully. Then the lawyer smiles wider than any man should reasonably smile. Then again, an unreasonable smile, for an unreasonable contract
You must use up ink and paper in order to activate this Effect.
You may make an oath with any number of physically-present, Sapient targets. Communicate the oath's terms to the targets, including the requirements and penalties for each participant. If all agree to the terms, you must Exert your Mind and all participants must sign the contract to seal the deal.
Record the oath as a Condition. If a party breaks the oath, the Condition ends and they suffer the oath's penalty.
When crafting your oath, you may incorporate any of the following penalties:
The targets cannot be compelled to agree via a direct threat of violence, another Effect, or another oath. If you would like to use clever wording to mislead the targets, you must succeed a contested Intellect + (Culture or Influence) roll.
When crafting your oath, you may opt to enforce compliance. If you do, any participant that wishes to break the deal must take 3 Mind damage and succeed a Self-Control roll. They may attempt once per day.
It is obvious to your targets that the oath you are proposing will be supernaturally enforced.
Devonia will place their hand near the target, as a amber, primordial fluid flows from their hand into the target, causing small grows of feathers, horns and fur to grow before aging and withering away afterwards
The target will notably grow older overtime, and with repeated use, will eventually start sporting the same horns, feathers, and fur with enough uses (roughly 10 uses, not set in stone currently)
Spend an Action. Select a target within arm's reach.
For the next 24 hours, your target does not require any food, water, sleep, or air. Your target ages 1 year over the duration of the Effect. Supernatural attempts to age you are 5 times as effective.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
The user will begin to very obviously search around the area as a soft red glow lights up behind their eyes.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Technology at Difficulty 6.

You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.
Allena's shadow evolves and becomes hyper-aware of surrounding firearms. Whenever it senses a firearm being aimed at its user it leaves a tiny piece of itself inside the gun. This orb of darkness festers inside the firearm. When the firearm is fired and the internal combustion within the barrel takes place the flash of fire and light disturbs the orb causing it to expand into a spiked ball that destroys the internals of the gun.
Allena's shadow, after too many near-lethal experiences with firearms has developed a distaste for them.
This Effect activates whenever a firearm is aimed towards you while your Hoplophobia is triggered. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a Firearm within 20 feet no larger than a duffel bag (35 liters). Roll Charisma + Occult Difficulty 6.
The target object is sabotaged. No immediate change is visible, but the next time the firearm is fired, this Power takes effect. If your Outcome is 4 or higher, the target will be completely destroyed and can no longer function, though it may still be repaired. If your Outcome is less than 4, the target will be partially damaged, and any attempts to use it will suffer a dice penalty equal to your Outcome.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Hoplophobia, A Self-Control roll to avoid getting angry or running away from a firearm..
The user touches their target and concentrates on the injuries/scars they want to transfer from/to them. The ring starts to glow with white light and like being liquified the injuries/scars travel towards the ring, make a round through it and end up in the other side's body.
The Greek goddess of curing sickness and healing wounds Aceso was said to have given this ring to a noble follower who wanted to take on warriors' afflictions and heal them while they went back to fight. In later generations, of course, this item would be used for much more selfish goals.
This artifact was loaned to one Jacob Sterns by the British Museum.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within arm's reach. If a target does not consent to the transfer, you must roll Brawn + Occult at Difficulty 6 to use the effect on them. They can resist by rolling either Body or Mind at Difficulty 6, depending on what you are attempting to transfer to them.
You may choose a single instance of one of the following to transfer from your target to yourself, or from yourself to them:
Whenever you transfer an Injury, it's Severity increases by 1. Whenever you transfer Mind damage or Traumas, the recipient takes an additional Mind damage.
Standing at a safe distance, with a clear line of sight to the sky and the location he’s targeting, Ethan Storm prepares to unleash his unique ability. His eyes fix on a point in the open field, 60 feet away. The air around him grows tense, charged with anticipation.
Ethan extends his arms, not towards the tornado, but outward, as if to embrace the vast expanse of the sky. His concentration is laser-focused, and the atmosphere responds to his silent call. Above the chosen location, the clouds begin to swirl menacingly, converging into a spiraling mass.
With a subtle movement of his hand and a deep exertion of his mind, Ethan commands the elements. A hemispherical dome of a tornado bursts into existence, its radius encompassing the 60-foot area he envisioned. The tornado is a whirlwind of debris and force, yet Ethan stands outside its reach, a master orchestrating a symphony of nature’s fury.

The Witch gazes at a calm and trusting animal and blinks, revealing eyes that have changed to match the creature's. Her body goes limp and collapses, and the witch proceeds to walk away, now temporarily borrowing the animal's body.
A borrowing Witch is a visitor in the animal's mind and cannot overstay her welcome or force the animal into danger.
Spend an Action or Reaction. Select a Creature target within 20 feet. The target may Resist.
You possess your target and have control over their actions for the next hour. Your original body will be left behind, unconscious, in its same location. You may perceive through your original body's senses, at a -2 penalty to all Actions while doing so. If your original body is touched, you get a Perception check to notice. You may spend an Action to end the possession early.
Stats: Any Actions you take will use the possessed creature’s Brawn, Dexterity, and Perception, but use your own Charisma, Intellect, and Abilities.
Gifts: You do not have access to any Gifts while you are possessing your target.
Death: If the host suffers an Injury, or is destroyed or incapacitated, you are evicted back into your own body. If the possession ends and your original body was killed or destroyed, you will die.
Eviction: You cannot force your host to take Actions which would violate their instinct for self-preservation (which includes engaging in Combat for any purpose other than self-defense or natural hunting); any attempt to do so will sever the connection and send you back into your own body. If you are forced out of the target's body prematurely, you must make a Trauma roll.

Through the use of clever rhetoric, the spy is able to inspire a surge of emotion in a target with whom they are speaking.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Living target within 45 feet as well as a specific emotion. This Effect cannot be used unless you are engaged in conversation with the target. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Affected targets can resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8.
If you succeed, for the next minute, your target will do things they otherwise wouldn’t have done, inspired by the chosen emotion. They will not necessarily display their emotions in an obvious way.
Actions they take will be in keeping with their character and the way they tend to deal with strong emotions. They will be unlikely to change their mind about any actions taken or decisions made until after the Effect ends.
While addressing a crowd, the influencer may use coded language to send secret messages to a particular person in the crowd. These messages can't be noticed or understood by anyone but the intended target.
Spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is listening and you are speaking to multiple people.
You may send a single message to your target. It can be no more complicated than a multi-page letter or a long email.
The message will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
