Even when Clyde takes a hit, really puts his mind to things, or a little bit of both, it seems that he isn't bothered by this; no injury will hold him down for good until it is enough to make him into pieces, and no amount of insults and traumas would either.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Stress from Injuries and Mind Damage is reduced to 0.
As a gift for returning his sacred birthstone, The Victorious Fight Buddha himself gave this lowly Air Marshall his Fiery Eyes, which allowed him to see through illusion and to predict his opponents. Given to a mortal Air Marshall, however, these new eyes make him unreasonably paranoid about everything. While subtle, his eyes slightly move with an inner fire whenever his unique perception is used.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your Eyes.
Your Perception rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Perception (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

Kayleigh has always had an uncanny affinity for beasts-- animals seem to see her as a kindred spirit, and don't regard her with the same fear and mistrust they do other humans, even going so far as to help her out where they can.
Perhaps it's this ability-- this kinship with the creatures of the wild-- that lead her to survive that faithful hike nearly twenty years ago. When Kimori and their pack came across the scared little girl deep into the mountains, they did not see her as threat or prey, instead adopting the child of man as one of their own.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Non-Alien Creature within 20 feet.

If you succeed, you create a Barrier extending out 15 feet from yourself, which absorbs 2 times the next Outcome + 4 Damage. Only applies to attacks which originated outside the 15 foot radius, and protects anyone who is within that radius. You may choose to create a bubble barrier. If you do, no physical objects or entities can pass into your bubble until the barrier is broken, but you and the barrier cannot move. Half any Damage absorbed by the barrier is reflected back to the attacker. They may attempt to Dodge or Defend using a Desperate Defense, and their Armor applies in full. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.

After you return, the Injury that would have killed you, as well as any Injuries sustained while Incapacitated, are healed. Battle scars obtained during this time remain.

The mobster presents a reasoned, logical case to the target: there's a lot of dangerous folks out there, and only they can offer safety... for a price.
If they agree, they will pay the mobster a monthly fee for protection. If they stop making their payments... well, let's just say, the mobster can't be held responsible for any unsavory types that might pay them a visit.
This Effect cannot be used unless you are making a deal to exchange money for protection.
