A flaming ship, a fearful sight,
The Fallen Flame, bathed in night.
With Captain Doug, skeletal guide,
Through stormy seas, it fiercely rides.
Forty cannons, roaring thunder,
A dual fireball, hellish plunder.
Red sails billow, ghostly crew,
A tale of terror, dark and true.
The damned sail on, a haunting fear,
Their skeletal laughter, cold and drear.
A legend born, a haunting sight,
The Fallen Flame, reigns with might.

Brie uses the hot surface to cook up a delicious meal made of meat. Then shoves it into the mouth of the target. "Remember this." Brie says "You take, you give back. Get me more meat."
Expend a point of Battery and spend 1 minute. Select a Living or Animate target within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless put on a hot surface. You must use up meat in order to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Dexterity + Survival at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome, unless it had Severity 4 or higher, in which case its Severity remains the same. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain. You may specify a specific condition that the patient must adhere to. If they break this condition, the treatment is immediately reversed. Record this regimen as a Condition.
Coded script rolls over the glass eye, calculating distance before folding space to deliver the wielder to a location they can see. Works especially well through placed Wards -
Exert your Mind (unless The user is looking through their ward) and spend 2 Actions. Select a Location within your line of sight. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you Miss the Landing (Severity 4 or Off Target).
You are transported directly to the chosen Location. You must wait 1 full Round before activating this Effect again.
As the user uses their ability, the hand can clearly be seen moving oddly in consideration to what the user is doing telekinetically, blocking attacks outstretch the fingers, catching or grappling targets encloses them, throwing targets points the fingers, and so on so forth.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.
You can interact with things that are within 75 feet without needing to physically touch them or be near them. Any rolls made for Actions taken in this way use a Mental Strength of 2 in place of your Brawn rating, a Mental Agility of 4 in place of your Dexterity, and otherwise use your own Attributes and Abilities.
Telekinetic actions have the following restrictions and behaviors:
Possession of this Artifact causes the following Battle Scar to manifest over the course of a day: Lost hand. If you lose possession of this Artifact, the Battle Scar heals over the course of the next month.

A beautiful low-pitched G String piece of classical music is played with The Golden Fiddle (the piece being played is Air on G String by Johann Sebastian Bach). This produces a giant transparent-ish shield, with a clef insignia in the middle, to form from the fiddle.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. Roll Charisma + Performance at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a Barrier extending out 15 feet from yourself, which absorbs 2 times the next Outcome + 2 Damage. Only applies to attacks which originated outside the 15 foot radius, and protects anyone who is within that radius. You may choose to create a bubble barrier. If you do, no physical objects or entities can pass into your bubble until the barrier is broken, but you and the barrier cannot move. Any Damage absorbed by the barrier is reflected back to the attacker, up to a maximum of the Barrier Strength Parameter’s bonus. Their Armor applies in full. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. This Artifact may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
Bill can make his passport appear as any form of identification.
This Artifact can change its appearance. When not transformed, it is roughly the same size as a passport and just as difficult to conceal.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. This Artifact changes its appearance into an Object within the category of Forms of Identification. This lasts until you decide to end the Effect, which may be done as a Free Action.
The new object's appearance can mimic specific items (such as a particular painting, a certain person’s ID, etc), but must be of a similar size and weight to this Artifact.
The new appearance is illusory; it will hold up to scrutiny, but its composition is not altered and it gains no new functionality. Any attempt to use it for a function which it cannot perform (for instance, making bread look like a knife and then trying to stab someone) will cause the illusion to fail or allow a Perception check to see through the illusion, at the GM's discretion.

The Scepter of Ang-Kapal is a gruesome device fashioned to look like a skeletal arm clutching a glass eye. When used, blood from the person holding is drawn into the eye where it swirls with dark energy. The eye turns to a nearby corpse and shudders, reviving the creature. The creature does not retain any of its memories or personality, but it is absolutely loyal to whoever is holding the scepter.
The Scepter of Ang Kepal has the unfortunate side effect of driving its owner mad.

Your target rises as an Animate being. The raised creature is totally mindless, with no memory of its past life or hint of its old personality. They cannot communicate. They will follow any command you speak.
The creature lasts for eight hours or until it dies again. It is revived at full health. Any Injuries it had in life are not accounted for when determining its penalties or progression towards re-death, though they may affect its ability to perform certain actions at GM's discretion.
Raised creatures have their Abilities set to the same that they were in life. Their Charisma and Intellect are set to 1, but their Dexterity, Brawn and Perception are the same as they had in life. A raised creature cannot use any Effects.
Destroying one of your zombies requires a called shot to the head or heart. All other Injuries zombies suffer result in Battle Scars only, limiting their mobility and effectiveness in other ways.

Standard issue in the Future Soldier's home time, the Personal Shield Generator (PSG) projects a protective energy barrier around the body. It absorbs damage far better than traditional armor, but its battery is quickly drained. When depleted, the PSG must spend a few seconds recharging.
When struck, the normally-invisible field of the PSG flashes, revealing a bright yellow honey-comb pattern encasing the body.
