(You must wear or wield this Artifact plainly to receive these benefits. While you are receiving any benefits from this Effect, this Artifact is obviously Alien and cannot be concealed under your clothes or similar.)

Googles designed to hunt. The lenses glow green when seeing into the darkness and show signs of electro activity as well. They fit comfortably on most faces.

You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way.

  • Sight: You can see perfectly in dark and even pitch-black environments. You suffer no dice penalty due to darkness.
  • Electroreception: You may detect electromagnetic fields, electric currents, and even neurological activity in a 50 foot radius from yourself at all times. When detecting neurological activity, you learn nothing but the creature's rough size.

Any senses which have been heightened cannot be overloaded. Battle Scars you receive cannot affect these senses.

  • Examples of overloading a sense include: an explosion causing temporary deafness, a bright light causing blindness, a sedative causing numbness, etc.
  • When you are within 50 feet of range, your electroreception sense is sufficient for aiming.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way. Lasts for three hours.

  • Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.
  • Hearing: You are capable of perceiving physical shapes via sound. You must produce a caveman grunt to “ping” with your echolocation each Round you wish to use it.
  • Hearing: You may spend an Action to ultrasound a surface within arm’s reach. Doing so reveals the internal structures of beings or objects. When used on the ground or a wall, you detect any tunnels, pipes, or hallways within 40 feet.

Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Weak Stomach - Whenever you face an extreme or overpowering smell, you must succeed a Body roll, Difficulty 9 not to throw up.).

  • Your thermal vision allows you to judge temperatures of surfaces fairly accurately as long as they are within livable temperatures.

  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.
