Her hair being whipped around akin to a hurricane, water droplets form around Brooke and coalesce around her body, encompassing her. The water buckles and glows, then finally spreads out to release Brooke as it swirls around her, glowing eyes and whiskers forming from the water. The Lake Lord has awoken.
The Lake Lord is a spirit. It is bound to its lake, but it learned how to split off fragments and send them far away, then reabsorb them when they return. After a terrible accident renders the Puddlings unable to return to the main body to join the whole, Brooke must take up the task of finding and returning them all so that the Lake Lord may become whole again.
The Lake Lord counts as a Construct, being both Sapient and Non-Living. The Puddlings, being lesser in mind than their larger form, count as Animate Non-Living Creatures.

If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.

Gunnar breathes the soul of Harun the Dragon into a pound of metal. Harun then enlarges and forges the metal until it takes his original form: a horse-sized dragon with scales the same color as the metal used. Harun can hold the form for about 2 hours until the metal is burnt away.
If he dies, it takes a few weeks for him to return to power.
Harun was once one of the greatest dragons in all of Scandinavia, unique in his ability to shape any metal he wanted, not just a specific one. These times are long gone and he has to hope his chosen human vessel can help him return to former glory.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must use up a pound of metal in order to activate this Effect.

The Toon performs some sort of cartoonish act of violence. This may be handing someone a bomb, hitting someone with a cartoon mallet, burping a burp that is so noxious it melts flesh, or anything else as long as it is cartoonish.
The attack is more of a throwaway gag than a plot element, so any props or properties of the attack are incidental and disappear immediately. Animated mallets evaporate in a puff of smoke, fire does not spread, and electricity cannot power devices.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 45 feet. Roll Charisma + Performance Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling to Dodge or Defend as a Reaction, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 4. Armor is fully effective against this damage.

The mobster presents a reasoned, logical case to the target: there's a lot of dangerous folks out there, and only they can offer safety... for a price.
If they agree, they will pay the mobster a monthly fee for protection. If they stop making their payments... well, let's just say, the mobster can't be held responsible for any unsavory types that might pay them a visit.
This Effect cannot be used unless you are making a deal to exchange money for protection.
You may make an oath with a physically-present, Sapient target. Communicate the oath's terms to the target, including the requirements and penalties for each participant. If all agree to the terms, you must Exert your Mind and all participants must shake hands to seal the deal.

When crafting your oath, you may incorporate any of the following penalties:
The target cannot be compelled to agree via a direct threat of violence, another Effect, or another oath. If you would like to use clever wording to mislead the target, you must succeed a contested Intellect + (Culture or Influence) roll.
