(This Effect is obviously Alien when used. When activating this Effect, it is obvious you are interacting with the target. You must actively and obviously be using A medical instrument.)

Amanda holds up a medical instrument using it as a resonator for an invisible wave of energy to shoot out at her targets. She needs to focus on her passion for saving lives and so another persons life needs to be in danger for her to activate this power. Expertise in the medical field has given her a strong sense of pride to those who save lives, this power only amplifies those thoughts.


Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Object or Animate target up to 100 feet away. This Effect cannot be used unless A life other than Amanda's is in danger. You must actively and obviously use A medical instrument to activate this Effect.

Targets are pushed back until they are 100 feet away.

This Effect cannot move anything heavier than 500 pounds.

Affected targets may use a Reaction and roll Dexterity or Brawn + Athletics to hold on to a nearby anchor, if available. A complete success increases their effective weight by whatever they hold onto.

Pushing a target straight upward requires you to be directly beneath them and halves the range. GM’s may ask for a Dexterity + Athletics roll when repositioning yourself around a target to get a desired angle. They may React to reposition or anchor themselves as normal.

You may select up to 3 targets each time you activate this Effect.

You may maintain Concentration after the initial activation of this Effect to continue the push on the target. Lasts up to one minute.

Targets that move and collide with a solid surface take 5 Damage.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Pride in your work: An insult to or an attack on one of your patients or your medical skill simply cannot be tolerated.

  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Community Push / Pull Gifts

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use Writing implement. to activate this Effect.

All Animate targets within 50 feet are pushed back until they are 50 feet away.

This Effect cannot move anything heavier than 500 pounds.

Affected targets may use a Reaction and roll Dexterity or Brawn + Athletics to hold on to a nearby anchor, if available. A complete success increases their effective weight by whatever they hold onto.

Create a repulsion field which extends out 15 feet from you in every direction, and lasts for the next 3 Rounds. Any Animate targets within the field cannot move any closer towards you. If they were within 15 feet from you when you activated the effect, they are immediately pushed back to the edge of the repulsion field.

You must maintain Concentration during this Effect.

  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.

As I flash my winning grin, you can see the glint of a golden veneer on my tooth. Perched atop it is a radiant Ruby, the gem of my Pot-Winning Bluff. With the curl of my smile, the room seems to shimmer with anticipation. The Ruby sparkles, emitting a red hue across the table. A psychic repulsion field emanates from me, extending out in every direction for 45 feet. It's like a force field of confidence, daring anyone to challenge my hand.

Any fool who can't see past my bluff knows that they're going to bust. They're trapped in their own defeat, pushed back to the edge of the radius like the pill of a spinning roulette wheel. They realize they've already lost before the first card is even dealt.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6. Any Animate targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.

Create a repulsion field which extends out 45 feet from you in every direction, and lasts for the next 5 Rounds. Any Animate targets within the field that failed to resist cannot move any closer towards you. If they were within 45 feet from you when you activated the effect, they are immediately pushed back to the edge of the repulsion field.

You must maintain Concentration during this Effect.

When you activate this effect, you may designate any number of specific individuals to exclude from the Effect. Anyone designated in this way is unaffected by the repulsion field, and can approach you as normal.

After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

  • If you use this Effect as a Reaction to dodge, you still need to make a roll to dodge. The Effect will occur regardless of the Outcome of this roll, but if you fail you will be hit by the relevant attack prior to the Effect occurring.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Targets that weigh less than you are pushed back until they are 100 feet away. If you are lighter, you move instead. If you are roughly the same weight, you and the target both move.
