+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +2 Weapon Damage (instead of -1).
You may Defend against melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks from any range and Clash with those in range of your Attacks. Attacking materials like steel or spikes will not Damage you unless it has an Effect that does so.
You also gain the following effects:
- Brutal Strikes: If your attack inflicts a Battle Scar, you may choose which of the appropriate-severity Battle Scars the target suffers. If it causes a less severe Injury, you may inflict a Minor Battle Scar of your choosing.
- Unlike the Ability Brawl, this Effect does not affect small weapons such as knives.

Gen-Wyld: Beyond Natural
On March 14, 2018, a little-known company named Gen-Wyld announced FDA approval for a groundbreaking procedure to enhance a patient’s primary and secondary sexual characteristics using gene therapy. The company was an overnight success.
Shortly thereafter, they introduced a suite of gene-altering body modification procedures that allowed patients to make dramatic aesthetic changes to their bodies by gene-splicing “non-human” anatomy. Those daring (and wealthy) enough can now add cuttlefish pigmentation to their skin, sport a pair of fox ears, and even add a functional tail. While rare, these so-called “modders” draw plenty of hate from conservative communities.
Thanks to their revolutionary procedures, Gen-Wyld is now a household name. Norman Carlson, Gen-Wyld’s chief evangelist, recently announced the company is in the trial phase for a groundbreaking treatment for diabetes.
Yet despite their success, a shroud of secrecy surrounds Gen-Wyld. Their no-patent policy obscures the secrets of their procedures from the public eye. Financial experts claim that Gen-Wyld is run less like a traditional business and more like an NGO with some specific, unknown objective.
Some claim that they will not stop until humanity has been reduced to monstrous slaves and that Gen-Wyld’s board of directors will install themselves as inhuman overlords of the new world order.
However, until the true secrets behind Gen-Wyld are discovered, the genetic biotech firm will continue to grow, develop, and progress its grand designs.

Claws of the Cockatrice
Ulysses raises his talons, jumps on his foe, and rips their throat out with his talons
Ulysses slashes, pierces, and rips apart his enemies with his cockatrice (think, scaly bird of prey looking) talons. He is swift and agile, but there is brutal muscle behind each ripping, tearing strike.
The Cockatrice, as legends say, was well known for its ferocious abilities in close quarters. Ulysses has inherited the instinct of this ancient beast in how to utilize his talons, as a hybrid with some of its DNA.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat.
+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, Grappling, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +4 Weapon Damage (instead of -1).
You may Defend against melee, projectile, or firearm Attacks from any range and Clash with those in range of your Attacks. Attacking materials like steel or spikes will not Damage you unless it has an Effect that does so.
You also gain the following effects:
- Point Control: Called Shots that you attempt only require a Contested Outcome of 2 for small targets and 4 for tiny targets.
- Disarm: If you successfully Defend or Clash with a melee attack, you may take possession your opponent’s weapon or launch if up to 35 feet away.
- Finesse: When Attacking a single being, you may limit the Severity of any Injury you inflict or determine a maximum Wound Level, including Incapacitated. You may also choose to make this Injury properly or improperly stabilized, or to keep it unstabilized.
- Precision Strikes: You may use Dexterity instead of Brawn to Attack and Defend. If you would successfully incapacitate a target using Finesse, you may opt to knock them out for one hour instead of having them suffer an Injury.
- Shredder: If you successfully hit your target, the value of any Armor they are wearing is reduced by 2. For material armor, this penalty lasts until it is repaired. For intrinsic armor, it lasts until the end of Combat and any relevant wound is healed.
- Unlike the Ability Brawl, this Effect does not affect small weapons such as knives.
Inner-self Wushu
Straight out of Shaolin
Kung fu teaches techniques for both defense and offense. Defensive techniques are mostly four types, dodge, block, catch, and parry, and offensive techniques are feint, hit, lock, and throw. Shaolin kung fu teaches all these types of techniques. In kung fu, techniques are taught via two-person practices. In these practices, one party attacks and the other defends or counters or stands in posture for the other party to perform the technique. In Shaolin kung fu, in addition, two-person forms are taught. In these two-person forms, attacks and defenses are performed one after the other. Each technique is followed by its counter, and the counter by its counter, and so on. These forms ensure perfect memorization and exact transmission of the techniques from generation to generation.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat.

Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Centipede Shaped Moving Scars: All social rolls are made at +1 Difficulty. The Beautiful Asset is suppressed as long as you have this Battle Scar.

- Ghost Wrangler: You may grapple incorporeal, liquid, or gaseous entities.

- The total damage of a ju-jitsu grapple-attack is equal to your Outcome minus their Outcome. Bonus Damage from the Bonus Damage Parameter does not apply to damage dealt through this Enhancement.
- Unlike the Ability Brawl, this Effect does not affect small weapons such as knives.
Close Combat

You are proficient in close combat, using a combination of bites, tail sweeps, claws, and punches to disarm and take down your foes.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat.

Billy Blitzen, after studying several martial arts, has developed his own style of Superspeed Kung Fu, allowing him to deal devastating strikes to his foes.

+2 dice to rolls for Attacking, Defending, and Clashing without a weapon. Unarmed attacks do +0 Bonus Damage Weapon Damage (instead of -1). The target's Armor is fully effective against this damage.
You also gain the following effects:
- Precision Strikes: You may use Dexterity instead of Brawn on your attack rolls.
- Unlike the Ability Brawl, this Effect does not affect small weapons such as knives.
Taijutsu
A Living Weapon
Through rigorous training, and following the techniques down to a T.
His moves are like as water and ripping and tearing through it to attack, quick, fast, and precise attacks with use of flow and less brute strength.
Whilst zipping through the air as he attacks his fists can be seen glowing red and building up smoke as friction is occurring, but while it looks like it's the hands its the hand wraps he wears which can be from your professional made-to-be boxing or just some good old tape and gauze. Need it as a base to use these newly found talents.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are engaged in unarmed combat. You must actively and obviously be using Handwraps to gain the benefits of this Effect.
Your unarmed attacks deal +0 Bonus Damage (instead of -2). The target's Armor is reduced to 1/2, rounded up against this damage.
You also gain the following effects:
- Armored Fist: You cannot take damage from attacking a dangerous material (such as steel armor, a spiked carapace, or an acidic blob). You may Clash with or Defend against any melee weapons or arrows.
- Precision Strikes: You may use Dexterity instead of Brawn on your attack rolls.
- Reminder: Bonus Damage stacks with Weapon Damage, but does not stack with any other Bonus Damage. Instead, the highest Bonus Damage is used.
- Unlike the Ability Brawl, this Effect does not affect small weapons such as knives.
