OWL - The Occult Wildlife Landing
The Occult Wildlife Landing (OWL) is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the rights of supernatural creatures to live a life unmolested by humanity’s relentless spread and greed.
While OWL has become the de-facto head of the conservationist movement in the United States, many claim it’s not as innocent as it appears. A number of small, seemingly-disconnected terrorist cells wear the OWL insignia with pride. These groups– which tend to contain a disproportionate number of supernatural creatures and beings– commit high-profile acts of public violence with the intent of furthering OWL’s core objectives. In the past, they’ve blown up oil pipelines, stopped development projects, and even infected congregations of people with mutagenic viruses.
OWL denies any involvement with these so-called “OWL-inspired terrorist organizations” (or OITOs for short). However, many people conflate the two and consider OWL itself to be a terrorist organization.
One thing is for certain: when OWL sends a blast to its followers urging protest, they’re taken seriously.

What has occurred shall be documented for all to read.
Lunwin opens a book and holds it out in front of himself, the ink shooting out and seeping into the environment. Text begins to crawl out of every rock, brick, and building in the area and flies into the book, filling up the empty pages and writing. Everything settling into neat, well organized sections that are easy to navigate.
When the book is filled, the contents last until this power is used again. The ink within the book is changed unnaturally and can increase or decrease in apparent volume equivalent to the quantity of text written within it. Additionally, with at least a hundred pages available, the total number of pages can also increase above a hundred or be brought down to it to allow for situations that would require it.
Any book not magically protected from tampering is susceptible to this ability and will be completely transformed from its original state, the contents unrecognizable to how it looked prior.
Spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 500 feet You must actively and obviously use a book of at least a hundred pages to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Investigation at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:
- You can tell the age of any structure or natural formation in the area. This includes trees and plants growing in the area.
- You can locate the source of any Alien energy or the presence of any Alien effects on the area. Specific information about the function of these effects beyond their general type is not forthcoming.
This Effect is obviously Alien and eye-catching across its range to those witnessing it, and you are obviously the source.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.

- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
From White to Colorful
Be a book
The user has to verbally convince the book to dirty its pages for information on the surrounding area. If they're successful, the book will surrender some of its pages as a carefully drawn map of the area with any supernatural influences marked and specified.
The book will still let you know that it does not like whe way it's used which may take a toll on your mind
The book does not like for it's pages to be anything other than white, so it takes some skillful persuasion to change its mind.
Expend a point of Battery and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 500 feet You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. At the end of your investigation, roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.

- You can locate the source of any Alien energy or the presence of any Alien effects on the area. Specific information about the function of these effects beyond their general type is not forthcoming.
- You learn map and layout
You cannot investigate the same area more than once per day.

Arcane Eye
The Four-Dimensional Scanner is able to reveal information not visible to the naked eye. You load a film roll into the bottom of the wand, stand in the center of the area you want to scan, then hold up the wand and release it. As the device is activated, the four arms open and begin to spin, and the scanner begins to float into the air. Holographic beams shoot out of the end of each arm and scan the entire area, piercing through structure and creature alike. Once the information has been gathered, the gyration will slowly cease as the wand floats back into the hand of the user. Upon contact, all of the revealed information is instantly downloaded directly to the user's brain. The spent roll of film will now show a large, inhuman eye that takes up the entire space open and then close.

Gone in a flash
Focusing on a mirrored surface, the reflection within will change, showing Barry the past of the surrounding area caught within the reflection in the form of a series of images flashing by, showing Barry the comings and goings in the area, as well as the identities of the inhabitants.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 500 feet You must actively and obviously use Mirrored Surface to activate this Effect. At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6.

After you finish activating this Effect, you cannot move quicker than a walk (max 15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour. Exhaustion’s penalty and duration stacks with multiple activations.

- Exhaustion penalties and duration stack. If you activate this Effect or another Effect with Exhaustion, your penalty will worsen, and the duration is increased by one hour.

- You learn where exactly creatures and people live within the area, and what sorts of creatures they are.
