A consumable Banana that lets you temporarily transform into Gorilla.

( While you are Gorilla, you are obviously transformed and unusual. You must obviously use this Artifact to activate this Effect. When activating this Effect, this Artifact is obviously Alien and cannot be concealed under your clothes or similar.)

Whenever the user eats a banana, a yellow smoke fills the air and the user transforms into a large silverback gorilla.


Use up this Banana and spend a Quick Action.

You transform into Gorilla for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are Gorilla, and you can use your equipment. The Injuries and Battle Scars of your Alternate Form and your true form are tracked separately.

While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 2. Your Stress is reduced by 2.

You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.

Your alternate form renders you unable to speak any human language and incapable of fine object manipulation. You can only hold or grasp objects in a crude, clumsy way.

If you become Incapacitated or suffer an Injury Severity 4 or greater, this Effect ends.

  • This consumable is destroyed when used and cannot be used again.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

Community Alternate Form Gifts

While active, the user seems to function on a motor instinct that is not their own, as if something else is guiding their limbs and reinforcing their muscles. This allows for heightened feats of strength and manual dexterity beyond the individual's standard limits.

However, the price is the sense of unearthly cold that grips the body after the duration of the drug's effect. For the first few moments, the numbing, biting cold freezes the joints and making walking painful. Even when the body regains proper motor functionality, the numb sensations causes whole body aches which persist for an hour.

Use up this small vial of taupe powder (unless you succeed on 1d10, Difficulty 7) and spend an Action.

You transform into takes on a zombie-like appearance. for 30 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are takes on a zombie-like appearance., and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.

While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 1 and your Dexterity is increased by 1. Your Stress is reduced by 2.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see looks like a zombie.

After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.

  • When narrating disturbing content, be cognizant of your group's tone and accommodating to those who would like to "fast forward" through the description.

You transform into Gore Magala for two hours.You are unable to revert to your original form at will and must wait for the duration to fully elapse before returning to normal. See the Extended System text for stats.

While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you do not have access to any of your Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.

Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.

    All creatures get +3 dice to any non-combat Action that they are naturally adapted for. All creatures Medium and larger may attack by rolling Body, dealing +0 Damage (+1 for “predators”). Gms and Playgroup leaders can apply other bonuses and effects to specific animals.
  • Animals that are quicker than humans (like dogs) have 50 feet of Free Movement. Animals that are very slow (like turtles) have 0 feet of Free Movement.
  • You cannot transform if there is not enough room to do so.
  • The form you take must have the same stats and abilities as a single, extant animal of the relevant size.

You transform into A Monstrous Werecat with Red Dragon Scales around the upper torso and neck for 3 hours. You have access to all of your Powers while you are A Monstrous Werecat with Red Dragon Scales around the upper torso and neck, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 1 and your Dexterity is increased by 1.

You cannot speak any coherent verbal language and must resort to other means of communication.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action. You must actively and obviously use a piece of girly attire worn and visible to activate this Effect.

You transform into Xavier in girly makeup and an extravagant gown for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are Xavier in girly makeup and an extravagant gown, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.

While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 1. You do not suffer any Stress while transformed.

While transformed, instead of your normal clothes and equipment, you are equipped with: magical Princess rainment, 2 armor, pink sword of justice.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: compulsion to protect the innocent.

You transform into The Beastman for 30 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are The Beastman, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.

While transformed, your Attributes are the same. Your Stress is reduced by 2.

Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Weapon Damage (instead of the typical -1).

You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.

If you become Incapacitated or suffer an Injury Severity 4 or greater, you revert from your Alternate form.

While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 2 and your Dexterity is increased by 2. You do not suffer any Stress while transformed.

Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Weapon Damage (instead of the typical -1).
