Channeling his mind into the psychosphere his mental self delves into the collective unconscious around his area, feeling the ebb and flow of supernatural energies in addition to the nature of the creatures within it. While within it though his mind touches each of the nearby creatures, from the smallest bug, to the mind's of other people and in doing so he shares a glimpse of their experiences. Though it is unintelligible in terms of information gleaned at this time, the mental shockwaves are devastating in their potential for psychological damage.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 1 mile You must actively and obviously use An orb of souls to activate this Effect. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means. At the end of your investigation, roll Intellect + Occult at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:

You gain the following benefits as long as engaged in combat with rifle.

At random, sporadic intervals, without either rhyme or reason, the gift user inevitably comes across yet more alternate versions of themselves from different, unknown timelines. Some of these alternate selves may be very similar to the gift user - they might wear similar clothes, and have similar mannerisms and beliefs - however some can instead be wildly different depending on the lives they have led, and the timelines they have came from. Likewise, their goals can differ too: even though most of the gift user's alternate selves are likely to be at least somewhat aligned with them, and thus willing to lend their assistance, there is also the rare chance for encountering alternate selves that are downright hostile, potentially even to a homicidal extent.
The actual process of an alternate self getting summoned through time often happens beyond the gift user's sight: in a different room, behind a corner, or somewhere else of that sort. Other times, the temporary guest's appearance may be noticed immediately, such as when they show up sitting in an unoccupied chair or standing right next to another person. No matter the level of conspicuousness, though, all of these summonings always have a single common element that remains unchanged - they begin with the trickling in of tiny grains of carmine sand. At first, there's barely any; then, the streams gradually grow, seemingly coming from nowhere; and, finally, with the rough shape of a person formed, the alternate self gets revealed while the sand is blown away into nothingness.
The weaponry of each alternate self that is summoned by this Effect is determined by the rules detailed in the Extended Description.
Each time an alternate self is summoned via this gift, a D20 is rolled to determine what class of weapons - if any - that alternate self comes equipped with.

This Effect activates whenever someone uses their Will to Survive. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you instead witness the appearance of an alternate self that is openly hostile to you, your allies and your goals. Unlike non-hostile alternate selves, hostile ones may refuse to follow any commands you give and cannot be ended prematurely at will.
Summon up to 3 Sapient alternate selves - but only a single one per activation of this Effect - at your location. They last for two hours or until they move more than 150 feet from you or are destroyed. They are controlled by the GM but will follow any commands you give. You may have at most 3 minions active at a time.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Temporal Commitment.
Jenn takes hold of someone and disappears, leaving behind a dark purple afterimage as if someone's eyes had been overexposed to something. It fades in a couple seconds.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. This Effect cannot be used unless you take someone with you.
You phase out of reality for up to 1 hour. During this time, you cannot affect the outside world or take any Actions. You cannot move. Nothing can interact with you in any way.
When you phase out, you may bring up to 1 additional target in arm's reach with you.
When you activate this Effect, you may limit its duration to a period of your choosing. If you are able, you may also end it as a Free Action on your initiative.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
You may only use this Effect once per day.
Dr. Freeman makes a circular incision around his patient's head and removes the top of their skull. He closes his eyes, places his fingertips directly on the patient's brain, and starts to massage the grey matter. He may then sift through the patient's memories at will. As he does so, little electric arcs crackle between his fingertips and the exposed brain. This procedure is incredibly invasive and thorough but may cause the death of the patient.
Exert your Mind (unless the target has an Intellect of 2 or less) and spend 2 Actions. Select a Living, Animate target within arm's reach This Effect cannot be used unless you are touching the target's naked brain. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you destroy the target's brain, killing them. You must maintain Concentration while the effect is active. Roll Intellect + Medicine at Difficulty 6. The target may Resist.
You are able to view your target's memories. The target is unaware their memories are being probed. The Effect ends if the target moves out of range or your Concentration is interrupted.
You may ask specific questions about their memory - “what is their computer password,” “What were they doing at 4:00PM yesterday,” etc - but you cannot get answers to broad, analytical questions like “are they a good person?” or “what are their plans for the future?”
Each question you ask and memory you replay takes a single Round to read.
You may read memories that the target has forgotten.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see you touching the target's naked brain.
Your injuries burn shortly after taking them, scabbing quickly and stabilizing. Over the course of a day, battle scars heal back.
Liv found a particularly tough and resilient demon, summoned it bound it, and ate its heart in a ritual designed to transfer its ability to recover to her.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Any Injury you receive from a source other than 'a weapon blessed by a priest, monk, rabbi of any religion heals quickly, reducing its Severity by one level every 6 hours. Any Injuries you receive while this Effect is active do not deteriorate over time. However, any Battle Scars caused by such an Injury will remain unless it is Properly Stabilized as normal.
As long as at least half your body remains intact, you cannot die and remain at Incapacitated, regardless of how many Injuries you take. It is clear to observers that you are still alive.
All Injuries you receive are considered Properly Stabilized. You may also choose to heal any Battle Scar on yourself that may not have been caused by an Injury. Doing so takes one day, and the Battle Scar affects you fully until that time.
Injuries you receive from 'a weapon blessed by a priest, monk, rabbi of any religion are increased in Severity by 1.
It's true the mad scientist is one of the greatest minds of our generation, that they can solve any puzzle or riddle. However, no one wants to spend time with them.
You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Intellect rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
You also gain the following effects:
The vampire sucks a copious amount of blood from a human and replenishes their own cursed flesh.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. This Effect cannot be used unless you drink blood directly from a human until it injures them. Choose a specific Injury on yourself that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Brawn + Occult at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
If your Outcome is greater than the Severity of the Injury you were attempting to treat, you may apply any excess Outcome to other Injuries on yourself.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see you drink blood directly from the vein.
The Necromancer spits into the mouth of a recently deceased corpse. For the few minutes, the corpse's head comes back to life and speaks to the Necromancer.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a Dead target within 50 feet. Dead targets must have died within the past week, and you must have their remains in your possession.
The target can communicate in your language for the next hour.
The survivalist spends a moment setting up a makeshift booby trap. The tripwires and pressure plates are so expertly hidden, they can only be noticed by those who have fallen victim to them before.
The victim is hit with a tiny curare dart. Pain wracks their body as a potent neurotoxin spreads through their veins.
Exert your Mind and spend 30 seconds to trap a region of any shape that contains your current location and fits entirely within 300 feet. This trap lasts one day or until triggered or disarmed. You must use up a dart in order to activate this Effect. Roll Intellect + Survival Difficulty 6.
The trap looks like a tripwire, a pressure plate, or a hidden switch. Only those who have seen this trap before can identify it as a trap. Anyone who is aware of the trap may intuitively avoid, trigger, or destroy it.
Any Living target that enters the chosen region will trigger the trap. The target may contest by rolling Body, Difficulty 6.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much Damage plus 2. The target's Armor is completely ignored.
The target suffers a -3 dice penalty for the next hour or until the Injury is healed. This dice penalty does not stack multiple times on the same target.
Instead of dealing Damage all at once, the Injury caused by this Power starts at Severity 1 and worsens at the rate of one level per Round until it reaches the Severity it would have otherwise been.
The Witch summons a crow, whispers a message to it, and sends it off to deliver her words. Half an hour later, the crow arrives at the recipient and repeats her message aloud in its croaking, animal voice.
Spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location.
You may send a single message to your target. It can be as complex or as large as you like. It takes at least 30 minutes before it is received.
The message may be intercepted while in transit, and may be overheard, read, or otherwise understood by anyone near either you or the recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.
