With a little touch of mania, and a little request for power beyond the standard pale from a harbinger with a sense of humor. Dominic has gained access to a new function thanks to a new lobe inside his brain that with the help of any device with a touch screen he may edit the world around him with a simple flick of his wrist he can edit the people who find themselves within it's sights. When handling non-electronic locks the user's shadow guides their hand and makes them draw a key on the journal that they then materialize from the page, (the manifested key looks immaterial and constantly swirling with darkness when it is manifested this way), the shadow then inserts this key into the door's shadow and unlocks it. When dealing with an electronic lock however the shadow reacts violently and untethers from the user before seeping itself into the locking mechanism and thrashing within it to disrupt it.

Somm gathers the descendant daughter into the room, seating her across from him at the table. Somm then plays off a riff from a traditional taoist instrument, and as the sound streams through the air the wispy spirit of the girl's ancestor is summoned into the room: called from the grave.
Somm utilizes a Taoist technique in which one's ancestor can be contacted through the usage of their descendant as a conduit / tie to the modern world of the living: however this requires that one is able to play a summoning / heralding "Call" for them, which is satisfied by the focus of this power. The actual technique which this is, is referred to as Mun Mai.

The creature's claws rip through the poor, defenseless doctor's coat, opening deep gashes in their gut. It bares its fangs to lunge for the killing blow, but the doctor looks up at the attacker.
