This Artifact allows you to detect all nearby Beings imbued with divine power and Beings in dire need of help.

(You must actively and obviously be using up Sand. You must use this Artifact obviously when activating this Effect.)

A glimmering energy flows from the gem into Vergil, and a gust of wind carries the voices of those in need on the wind to him. In addition, the goddess within the gem can detect other beings of divine origin or those imbued with divine power. Allowing him to know when the agents of the orthodoxy of ruin are nearby. If he needs more specific information, he calls on Odessa to unite her powers with the goddess of the wind, and dispensing the sand of sleep onto the wind it flows in a trail that directs him to the person in need.

Luckily Odessa and her had known of each other's locations before they were sealed into crystal form to protect the world from the powers of ruin, yet now with ruin having infiltrated the world the Goddesses are returning to imbue their chosen hero with the power to set things to right!

Exert your Mind and spend at least two Actions performing the following ritual: A prayer to Thalassa the Goddess of Wind to activate. You must use up Sand in order to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect all Beings imbued with divine power and Beings in dire need of help within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby and their direction, but you are not aware of their exact locations.

Even while this Effect is not active, if any Beings imbued with divine power or Beings in dire need of help come within 300 feet of you, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 7 to detect them.

Even if there are no Beings imbued with divine power or Beings in dire need of help within 300 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. You must actively and obviously use a crucifix to activate this Effect.

You automatically detect all Demonic entities within 50 feet of you for the next minute. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby and their direction, but you are not aware of their exact locations.

Even if there are no Demonic entities within 50 feet of you, you become aware of the direction the closest one is in, as well as a rough sense of its distance from you.

This Effect activates whenever someone you've met before is within 200 meters of you. It does not require an Action or Exertion. “Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event. Roll a single d10, Difficulty 4. If you fail or botch, the Effect fails and you cannot activate it again for an hour.

You automatically detect the closest of any ________ within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense their direction and distance.

You receive aura for each being you detect.

  • When triggered, the Effect activation resolves immediately after the triggering Action. It is not Reaction speed.
  • If this Effect fails due to the Unreliable check, you must still pay any associated activation costs.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Consumes a mind effecting substance and says "Here piggy piggy". You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted.

You automatically detect the closest of any Law Enforcement within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense their direction and distance.

If no Law Enforcement targets are within 300 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.

Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. This Effect cannot be used unless Night. You must actively and obviously use bracelet to activate this Effect.

You automatically detect all Vampires within 50 feet of you for the next minute. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby and their direction, and you have a clear sense of both the distance and direction towards any detected beings. This information is accurate enough to use for aiming at them, at +1 Difficulty.

Even while this Effect is not active, if any Vampires come within 50 feet of you, you may roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 7 to detect them.

By intentionally criminal beings i mean to target beings that have an activate understanding and engagement with society and laws, they just chose to break those laws anyways.

Victims of crimes i mean individuals who are actively having a crime committed against them. some one being attacked in the streets, or kidnapped, or just got robbed an hour ago. People are not Victims forever.

Exert your Mind and spend two Actions performing the following ritual: Balancing the scales, and lighting the plants on flame on either side.. You must use up nettle and Mugwort leaves in order to activate this Effect. You must maintain Concentration while activating this Effect, and it fails if you are interrupted. You must make a Trauma roll when you use this Effect. Its Difficulty cannot be reduced by any means.

You automatically detect all Victims of crimes and intentionally criminal beings within 10 miles of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.

You learn basic information about why each detected being is being detected. For example, if you detect Criminals, you may learn how many crimes they have committed and what type.

You receive Their scent for each being you detect.

You automatically detect all people wielding weapons within 300 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
