You gain the following benefits at all times.
Your Intellect rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
You also gain the following effects:
- Push Through It: When you Exert your Mind to ignore Penalty and gain +1 to your Outcome, it lasts for 3 Rounds.
- Re-Think: You may wait until after all relevant rolls have been made to decide whether to Exert your Mind and get +1 to the Outcome. If Exerting would have caused you to ignore your Penalty and roll more dice, you may roll that many additional dice as well.
- Insufferable Know-It-All: Any social rolls you make are at +1 difficulty, and if someone else can answer an informational question or solve a puzzle before you do, make a Trauma roll.

The Sons of Salem is a loosely-organized conservative populist movement in the United States that preaches violent opposition to anything they perceive as witchcraft, demonic, or monstrous.
Blowhard podcaster Ted Gundy and former general of the mercenary group “Hognose,” Roland Rush, founded the movement in 2010 after a series of violent werewolf attacks and unexplained, supernatural murders in Tennessee. Memberships grew quickly, stoked by Ted’s fiery doomsday rhetoric on his podcast "Truth Seekers" and the aspiration of the masculine power embodied by Roland.
Although they speak of duty, honor, and maintaining the “natural order” of things, the Sons of Salem are driven by fear. They collect guns and appear at protests en-masse as a way of easing the all-consuming terror of their powerlessness. At the same time, they have conditioned themselves to respond to fear with “strength” (read: violence).

Most people simply lie when they say sleeping less makes them *more* awake.
Skunk doesn't need to.
Years of all-nighters have finally paid off, so much so that she can't seem to keep herself from pulling them... She tells herself that she's a night owl, but she's a little more than that. Even a simple power nap is all she needs to start the ideas machine again. With a nothing more than a cup of coffee in hand, she's readier than ever to start working.
Skunk's sleeplessness paradoxically increases her ability to recall any facts or information that she has come into contact with. No matter how long ago she read it, the information is locked in like a steel trap. In addition, when she focuses her mental energy to a task, she finds herself easily pushing beyond her limits, ignoring even the most harsh of injuries or stressors.
Unfortunately, this newfound ability has not done much for her social skills, as the know-it-all inside of her has come forward in force. Even so, her twitter hot takes seem to gather more and more of an audience, regardless of how insufferable she's become.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your Bags Under Eyes - Sleep 6 hours or less every night!.
Your Intellect rating is increased by. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
- Never Forget: You have a perfect photographic memory, and can recall or recreate even complex and detailed things. If you forget something you had previously seen or noticed, you may ask the GM and they will remind you.
- Push Through It: When you Exert your Mind to ignore Penalty and gain +1 to your Outcome, it lasts for a number of rounds equal to your Intellect.
- Insufferable Know-It-All: Any social rolls you make are at +1 difficulty, and if someone else can answer an informational question or solve a puzzle before you do, make a Trauma roll.
- If your Bags Under Eyes - Sleep 6 hours or less every night! is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months, or until you can recover any relevant missing items (which may involve a side-game and requires a GM to approve whatever process is used).
Eye of the Universe
Casey's white eye allows him to see and think at an elevated level than others. It makes him a major ass as well... though thats something he'll have to deal with himself
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your White left eye.
Your Intellect rating is increased by 0. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
- Multithreaded: Instead of being unable to take Actions while maintaining Concentration, you may now take Actions at a -2 dice penalty. You may maintain Concentration from two different Effects, but you are unable to take Actions when doing so.
- Never Forget: You have a perfect photographic memory, and can recall or recreate even complex and detailed things. If you forget something you had previously seen or noticed, you may ask the GM and they will remind you.
- You may Exert your Mind any number of times per Round, including multiple times for each roll
- Insufferable Know-It-All: Any social rolls you make are at +1 difficulty, and if someone else can answer an informational question or solve a puzzle before you do, make a Trauma roll.
- Being Injured or interrupted in some way can still break your Concentration.
- When you exert multiple times, if you have the Enhancement Push Through It, the lingering Outcome bonus is limited to +1.
- If your White left eye is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
Big Brother uplink
His mind in the cloud
Allowing himself to directly mindlink with the server in his home allows him to think on a level beyond normal people, parallel thought processing independent of anything and everything related to his physical body. Though it does require him to squint with the cybernetic eye in question resulting in a visible telescoping of the iris but hey. Nothing's free.
You gain the following benefits as long as you have your cybernetic eye.
Your Intellect rating is increased by 2. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Intellect (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).
If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.
You also gain the following effects:
- Multithreaded: Instead of being unable to take Actions while maintaining Concentration, you may now take Actions at a -2 dice penalty. You may maintain Concentration from two different Effects, but you are unable to take Actions when doing so.
- Quick Thinking: Any Intellect rolls other than Power activations are made as Free Actions. You get +2 dice to all Initiative rolls.
- Being Injured or interrupted in some way can still break your Concentration.
- If your cybernetic eye is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

- Insufferable Know-It-All: Any social rolls you make are at +1 Difficulty, and if someone else can answer an informational question or solve a puzzle before you do, make a Trauma roll. The Difficulty of this Trauma roll cannot be reduced by any means.
- Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.
