Description
Derricks Doom is a magical Ninjatō sword with a stark-white blade. It was given to the Ninja by the ghost of an ancestor to be used in a mission of vengeance.
The ancestor's ghost muffles the sound of anyone gravely injured or killed by the sword, and guides the blade to separate its victims from their extremities.
System
Yūrei's Whisper is a unique item that can be lost or stolen.
Attacks with Yūrei's Whisper do + (2+2) Damage and the target's Armor is Fully Effective. If you Stun or kill someone with Yūrei's Whisper, they cannot make a sound, even incidentally, for a single Round. Any Injury you inflict with Yūrei's Whisper that would cause a Battle Scar may dismember the opponent if you wish. The details of the dismemberment (whether it is a loss of fingers, hands, arms, feet, etc) is up to the GM's discretion.
Enhancements
- Dismember (If one of your attacks causes a Battle Scar, you may choose for it to be some form of dismemberment, depending on the Severity of the Injury you caused.)
- Bullet Parry (You may use a Reaction to Defend against any Melee, thrown, or projectile Attack in range of your Attacks.)
- Assassin (If your attack Injures your target, they cannot make a sound, even incidentally, for a single Round.)
Drawbacks
- Active (This Power is no longer passive. Spend an Action and Exert your Mind to activate it for one hour.)
- Supernatural (This Power causes a mutation (passive) or an effect (active) that marks it or its owner as a supernatural being.)
