Charisma + Influence difficulty 7
Mind diff 6 to resist
Due to their ability to grant orders to mortals on behalf of the heavenly host, Chamael has the ability to issue simple commandments. When used outside of alternate form, a image of his alternate form shimmers over his body, wings outstretched, like a ghost-
A glimpse at his true self.
Exert your Mind and spend at least one Action to activate. Select a Sapient target at any range. Communicate a command to your target. Roll Charisma + Alertness at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
If the contested Outcome is positive, your target will be compelled to follow your command to their best understanding of the letter and spirit of the command until they have completed it or for your Outcome in hours. You cannot issue another suggestion to the target until 10 minutes after they have completed the first command or 10 minutes after a failure.
They will be unaware that they are under any sort of compulsion until the effect wears off, but they will appear obviously mind-controlled the entire time to anyone observing them. If you fail, they realize that you were attempting to influence them supernaturally with your command.
Your command can be an order to take an immediate Action. You cannot order a target to "do nothing," and they are free to take other Actions as they fulfill your request. Commands can put the target into a potentially self-endangering scenario, including Combat, though you cannot force a target to directly attack themselves. Commands may force a target to violate one of their Limits, and they will need to make a Trauma roll once the suggestion wears off.
You are equally bound to follow any command you issue.
Over the course of the day, Liv directs all of the targeted to share the memories of the trauma they want to heal. In this time, she sets up an elaborate summoning circle.
If at the end of the day, Liv has setup correctly (critical fail check) then they can summon forth and command (Charisma + Occult) a powerful demon of fear and nightmares to consume the trauma which the targets have.
This creature itself is horrifying, feeling deeply wrong. Looking directly at it causes any who do to be momentarily in a nightmare, watching the memories of others who this monster has eaten the trauma of before. They get the correct understanding that feeding it these traumatic moments is giving it more power.
This is the First of Liv's planned grand rituals. It involves summoning and using the effects of a very powerful demon in a ritual to create a beneficial effect.
Those who wish to benefit must make a trauma roll due to the nature of the powerful demon being summoned draining away the emotions from their traumatic experience.
Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Over the course of one day, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired. After the full treatment time has elapsed, roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6.
Your target may Resist. If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see This creature itself is horrifying, giving an impression of pure malice and cruelty to any that glimpse it. Looking directly at it causes any who do to be momentarily in a nightmare, watching the memories of others who this monster has eaten the trauma of before. They get the correct understanding that feeding it these traumatic moments is giving it more power, and that you know this.
River gives one of their friends a short session in breathwork, calming them, and helping them find their center.
Over a longer period of time, River may help their patients overcome greater anxieties, but the coping mechanisms he suggests often have their own issues.
Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Over the course of one Downtime, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired. After the full treatment time has elapsed, roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.
Your target may Resist. If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost. This Effect can only be used to treat anxiety, phobias.
Once per day per target, you may choose to use this Effect to stabilize the Mind of a target within arm's reach. Treatment takes 30 seconds but will not remove any Traumas. If you are successful, restore 2 Mind damage.
You may choose to use this Effect to temporarily relieve any number of the patient's Traumas (including mental Conditions). In this case, Treatment takes an Action and the effect lasts two hours. If the Patient is currently experiencing an episode, Difficulty is increased by 2.
The target hears/feels their electronic device indicate that someone is trying to contact them, even if it is on silent or dead. This notification is only perceivable by the target. If there's a screen, the most commonly used calling app is used. The caller is a saved contact with whatever name/title and profile picture the caller desires.
If the target accepts the "call," they will hear a woman's voice talking to them through the device. No one else hears her, and the target's replies (their voice and lip movements) are also supernaturally obscured. At most, onlookers may notice the target accessing their device.
When the conversation ends, the device has no record of it, and all attempts to collect evidence of the call somehow fail.
Spend an Action. Select a target any distance away from you. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location. This Effect cannot be used unless target has in their possession (or is attending to) an electronic device that can send and recieve audio and the target is willing to engage in the conversation (meaning they accept the "call" and don't hang up).
You open up a line of communication to your target, and may converse with them as long as one of you maintains Concentration
The conversation will only be perceived by the intended recipient. You must share a common language for your target to understand the message.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is slow, deep breathing. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
This Gift's Cost is capped at 2 and cannot be increased further.
Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: You must roll Self Control to resist chasing after smallish things in motion that dogs are known to chase after, including sticks/balls/squeaky toys and small animals. If you fail the roll, you will chase after it until you have physically touched it, lost sight of it, or it becomes clearly beyond your reach..
Otto can summon a little of his kraken powers to command denizens of the ocean.
Exert your Mind (unless you win a coin flip) and spend an Action. Select a non-Sapient, Animate target within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is aquatic (semi-aquatic flip a coin).
For the next day, you may issue specific commands to your target which they will be compelled to follow.
Your commands must be relatively simple and within the target’s intellectual grasp. You cannot make them obviously endanger themselves or violate their instinct for self-preservation. The effects of the command will fade after a day has passed.
Neth may not look it, but she's way way stronger than she looks. With the physical prowess similar to that of a Honey Badger, who doesn't look so strong or dangerous upon first glance, and with the finesse of a parkour runner, Neth leaps with her legs and soars through the air with grace. And thanks to her tough skin and sturdy interior, she can survive long falls like nothing.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select a Location which is at most 75 feet away horizontally or 15 feet away vertically.
You jump to the chosen location. If the landing is precarious, the GM may call for a roll to land safely. You will never take fall damage from successfully landing a jump made with this Effect.
You may activate this Effect while in free-fall, as long as your target Location is a surface on which you can land. You are immune to fall damage.
The beastmaster puts their nose to the ground and sniffs about the area. Their feral nostrils tell them what sorts of creatures live in the area, and who lays claim to each region.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute. Investigate an area with a radius of up to 100 feet Can only be activated while you are in the wilderness. At the end of your investigation, roll Perception + Survival at Difficulty 6.
You learn the following information about the area:

You may opt to trade your free movement for a Super Leap if you are jumping less than 50 feet or if you are closing a gap to an opponent and spend your Action on an attack.
The Necromancer spits into the mouth of a recently deceased corpse. For the few minutes, the corpse's head comes back to life and speaks to the Necromancer.

The mad scientist produces thorium cores that can be used to upgrade tools and other devices. The core supercharges the item, increasing its quality and rendering it indestructible for a period. However, once the core runs dry, the object is rendered less useful than it was before. The core crackles with blue electricity while active.
Spend 1 Action and use up this glowing blue disk. Select a non-Alien Device within arm's reach. Cannot be used to improve Armor.
Lasts the next two hours. Your target receives 2 extra dice to all actions taken for its intended use. Attacking with an upgraded weapon grants +2 Weapon Damage instead of additional dice. While it is upgraded, the item cannot be destroyed.
After the Effect ends, any upgraded targets suffer a -2 dice penalty until they are either repaired or upgraded again.
The spy is able to transform an ordinary ballpoint pen into a monitoring device that is inconspicuous enough to blend in to most settings, but advanced enough to allow 360 degree surveillance as well as audio capture, which is sent to their smartphone.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Select a target within 10 feet. You must actively and obviously use a ballpoint pen to activate this Effect.
You place a ward, which is fixed to a target Object that can be moved and repositioned. You can hear and see through the ward as though you were standing at its location. You may have at most 1 wards active at once.
The ward requires Concentration to monitor, though it will remain active until you deactivate it. The ward can be discovered if someone knows what they are looking for, but is otherwise inconspicuous and cannot be identified as a ward.
