The basics of sandbending, taught by the many Si Wong tribes of the Si Wong desert. It utilizes not the rough, solid earth. Instead, in order to traverse the desert, they have learned the ways of maneuvering the loose sand around them to move fast and strike hard. With the basics, you can blind people, create gravelly cuts and small barriers, but it is not so advanced that you can use it to sail on the sand or create tornados.


You gain the following benefits as long as it is used on sand.

You can interact with things that are within 10 feet without needing to physically touch them or be near them. Any rolls made for Actions taken in this way use a Mental Strength of 2 in place of your Brawn rating, a Mental Agility of 4 in place of your Dexterity, and otherwise use your own Attributes and Abilities.

Telekinetic actions have the following restrictions and behaviors:

  • Reactions: You may use a Reaction telekinetically.
  • Multiple Items: You can only interact with one thing or take one action at a time.
  • Line of Sight: You must be able to visually observe anything you interact with, and any actions that you are taking will end if their target moves out of sight.
  • Unarmed Combat: You cannot deal damage through unarmed combat or thrown objects with this Effect, though you may still grapple with targets.

Community Telekinesis Gifts

You gain the following benefits as long as you have your silver tounge.

Your Charisma rating is increased by 1. You may Exert your Mind to automatically gain an Outcome of 5 on any roll that uses Charisma (Cannot be used on combat rolls or Power activations).

Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: unusual appearance: Dispite being a priest, your entire body below your chin is covered in tatoos depicting various divine acts and imagery.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Saintly Delusions: You believe are a bonified chosen of God, put here on earth to save the world from sin. (You must succeed a Self-Control roll in order to believe something or take an action which contradicts this delusion).

If you are witnessed actively using this Effect, whoever sees it can make a Perception + Alertness roll at Difficulty 6. A complete success reveals the source of your power.

You also gain the following effects:

  • Honest Eyes: Your word is accepted as honest so long as you are speaking the truth as you understand it. You can always tell if someone telling a lie without making a roll, though you may not know what they are concealing
  • No Choice But To Stan: If someone speaks or acts against you socially, anyone observing it must roll Mind, with the difficulty equal to your Charisma, in order to not defend you.
  • Party Animal: You are welcome at, and will be granted entrance to, any social gathering or party, at least as an observer.

  • Being forced to Stan will not force someone to violate any of their Limits or to engage in violence of any kind (though they may still do so of their own volition).
  • A "social gathering" might include a birthday party, after-work drinks, a ski trip, or yoga in the park, among other things. It likely would not include a cult gathering to summon a demon, Congressional negotiations over a contentious bill, etc.
  • If your silver tounge is damaged, destroyed, or lost, you lose all benefits from this Effect for the next two months.
  • Attribute bonuses from multiple sources do not stack. Instead the highest bonus is used.

As long as people aren't looking, Wally is able to manipulate objects around him, or even reach places that would be unreasonable for his dog body.
