The Mad Fox
The wearer of the mask is given unprecedented skill with vehicles. Whenever they're moving in the car and multi tasking blueish silhouettes of themselves can be seen taking over for them for things such as holding the wheel and shooting outside. This skill however also pushes the user into recklessness as they're ego pushes them to constantly test their limits and take insane risks.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are wearing this Artifact and you are piloting any vehicle.
You receive +2 dice to any rolls to pilot a vehicle.
Possession of this Artifact causes the following Trauma to manifest over the course of a day: Must always use the most dangerous route possible during a chase.. If you lose possession of this Artifact, the Trauma heals over the course of the next month.
You also gain the following effects:
- Afterburner: Any vehicle you pilot has a 50% faster top speed and you may Exert your Mind to accelerate to its top speed in a single Round.
- Daredevil: Damage you and your passengers take from vehicle collisions is halved (rounded up) and the result is limited to a maximum of 5.
- Drive-By: You may drive or pilot your vehicle as a Free Action, without taking any penalty on other Actions.
- Steady As She Goes: The motion of vehicles you are piloting never causes your passengers dice penalties, and you do not suffer dice penalties from the unsteadiness of any vehicle you are riding in.

Okiyama grants a device with motivational words and unrelenting determination, his sunglasses reflecting brightly, even though there may be no sunlight- it's this very motivation that charges the item with life and personality!
The weapon changes to befit the personality of the user, but also with the flair of overblown bedazzling! Background music that befits it's use plays in the head of the user as the item now looks not only shiny and new, but encrusted in sparky gliiter and rainbow bling that falls and disappears close to it like falling sparky snow. When it ends, the item will be clogged up and stained with glitter.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 Action. Select a non-Alien Device within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use Sunglasses to activate this Effect. Cannot be used to improve Armor.
Lasts the next two hours. Your target receives 2 extra dice to all actions taken for its intended use. Attacking with an upgraded weapon grants +2 Weapon Damage instead of additional dice. While it is upgraded, the item cannot be destroyed.
Upgraded weapons count as any material your opponent might be particularly vulnerable to. Upgraded Armor cannot be circumvented by called shots. Upgraded Devices do not run out of fuel or energy.
After the Effect ends, any upgraded targets suffer a -2 dice penalty until they are either repaired or upgraded again.
- "Destroyed" in this context means "prevented from functioning for its primary purpose", so for instance, an upgraded land mine would still explode as normal if triggered, even though it cannot be "destroyed" and a car's windows may still be broken.
- Reminder: additional Weapon Damage granted by this Effect does not stack with any other bonus to Weapon Damage. Instead the largest bonus is used. The same is true for extra dice.
- Extra dice from this Effect do not apply to Gift activation rolls.
- You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
- Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.
Octane Junky
I'll drive
Mikey is unmatched behind the wheel. His vehicles accelerate to full speed in a blink of an eye, said top speed being unmatched by other drivers. Even while speeding like a madman Mikey is able to outdrive the best while barely focusing on the road.
Any turbulence or unsteadiness in the vehicle is unfelt by his passengers, even the what should be whiplash from Mikey's maniacal acceleration. This steadiness even carries over into crash landing and traffic collisions, cushioning Mikey's passengers from the force and minimizing there injuries.
Mikey is able to capitalize on any ramps he encounters pushing his vehicles to jump far higher and farther than should be possible. He is even able to cause a vehicle to jump into the air for seemingly no reason. This ability coupled with his near instant acceleration allows him to take off most aircraft from a standstill.

Driving rugged vehicles in a combat situation is second nature to the Soldier. They measure their shots and navigate obstacles with a subtle timing that doesn't affect the steadiness of their own or their passengers' weapons. Firing a few shots through the windshield or window while performing dangerous driving maneuvers is also no problem.
You gain the following benefits as long as Must be driving a rugged vehicle such as an SUV truck or armored car. and you are piloting any vehicle.
