Generally disguised as humming a tune, I synchronize the synthesized vibration with that of the world surrounding me. This produces an effect which could be likened to echolocation, allowing me to see with sound so to speak.

  • Hearing: You are capable of perceiving physical shapes via sound. You must produce a hum to “ping” with your echolocation each Round you wish to use it.

Community Heightened Senses Gifts

You gain the following benefits as long as Blood is the only smell effected by blood hound.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way.

  • Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.
  • Sight: You can see perfectly in dark and even pitch-black environments. You suffer no dice penalty due to darkness.

Any senses which have been heightened cannot be overloaded. Battle Scars you receive cannot affect these senses.

Possession of this Power grants the following Battle Scar: Red Eyes.

  • Examples of overloading a sense include: an explosion causing temporary deafness, a bright light causing blindness, a sedative causing numbness, etc.

Exert your Mind and spend one minute. This Effect cannot be used unless detecting creatures with blood.

You may perceive things through sight within 75 feet of you with perfect clarity as though there were no walls or obstacles blocking your view. The effect lasts indefinitely but you must maintain Concentration to keep it up.

This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is blood shot eyes. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.

You may perceive through up to 15 feet of material. The Difficulty of all Perception rolls made through a wall are increased by 1 per wall.

  • This does not satisfy the Line of Sight requirement for targeted Effects.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way.

  • Hearing: You are capable of perceiving physical shapes via sound. You must produce a whistle to “ping” with your echolocation each Round you wish to use it.
  • Hearing: You automatically know the origin location of any sound you hear, and you can tell which Action caused the sound.

Any senses which have been heightened cannot be overloaded. Battle Scars you receive cannot affect these senses.

Possession of this Power grants the following Trauma at all times: Demand Satisfaction.

  • Examples of overloading a sense include: an explosion causing temporary deafness, a bright light causing blindness, a sedative causing numbness, etc.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

  • Hearing: You are capable of perceiving physical shapes via sound. You must produce a ring to “ping” with your echolocation each Round you wish to use it.

-CONDITION-

Gentle Touch: After-care Instructions from Tubby for healing your wounds. (You are required to not harm or kill another being for the next month. If you violate this rule, the treatment is immediately reversed.)

Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Living target within arm's reach. You cannot target yourself. Choose a specific Injury on your target that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.

If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.

This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain. Your patient is required to not harm or kill another being for the next month. If they violate this rule, your treatment is immediately reversed.

  • The patient is aware of the after-care requirement.
  • Unstabilized wounds do not degenerate during treatment.
  • You can target yourself if you qualify as a valid target by the other requirements.
  • Your target must be within line of sight, or within range of another sense if more fitting for the Gift's flavor.

Stock Heightened Senses Gifts

Your senses are enhanced in the following way. Lasts for three hours.

  • Thermal: You are able to "see" heat signatures within your line of sight.
  • Hearing: You automatically know the origin location of any sound you hear, and you can tell which Action caused the sound.

  • Your thermal vision allows you to judge temperatures of surfaces fairly accurately as long as they are within livable temperatures.

You gain the following benefits at all times.

Your senses are enhanced in the following way.

  • Sight: You can see things that are normally invisible to the naked eye, such as fingerprints and bacteria.

  • Your microscopic vision requires a close look at a very small, specific area to use. It does not grant increased distance vision, it simply provides a higher resolution, allowing you to see finer and finer detail.

  • Smell: Your nose is highly sensitive and can differentiate between scents the way a dog can, as well as recognize things you have smelled before.
