Description
Archangels have the ability to appear to mortals and relay messages.
Thanks to the harbingers and some.. clever interpretations, Chamael can appear to a target he is familiar with in a flash of white light, and deliver a message. Though the sound the illusion makes is that of Chamael's tongue, it carries with it a temporary understanding of the words spoken. Upon connection, the target can 'pray' to Chamael, and he will receive the message, though he must 'appear' in order to answer.
System
Spend an Action and Exert your Mind to send a message to a target within 10 miles. You must have a specific target in mind, but you require only an intuitive understanding of them, such as their name, face, or Location.
The message can be no more complicated than a multi-page letter or long email. The message can only be seen/heard/read/felt by the intended recipient, but you must share a language.
Enhancements
- Psychic Speaking (The message transcends the language barrier. You do not need to share a language with your recipient.)
- Conversational (Instead of sending a single message, you open up a line of communication to your target. You may converse with them without any additional Exertion cost for as long as one of you maintains Concentration.)
- Connection (After your first message, additional messages to the same target don't cost any Exertion. Lasts two hours after the initial message.)
- Cantrip (Activating this Effect has no Exertion cost, but it can have no more than 3 Drawbacks and its Gift Cost can never be increased above 2.)
Drawbacks
- Tweet (Your message may only be one or two short sentences long.)
- Humanities (This Effect can only be used on Humans.)
- Flying Paper (Your message may be intercepted in transit, and any individuals near the target may be able to read or hear it.)
