Dr. Freeman drives his orbitoclast into the eye socket of his patient, and, with two quick sweeping motions, severs the particular connections in the brain responsible for trauma.
This procedure is not without its risks.
Exert your Mind to activate. Select a Living target within arm's reach. Roll a single D10 as a critical failure check. If you roll a 1, the Effect fails, and you injure the target's brain, causing a Severity 3 Injury and a neurological Battle Scar. Over the course of one minute, your patient must communicate with you and reveal at least one of their Traumas to you, including the details of those Traumas and the circumstances of how they were acquired. After the full treatment time has elapsed, roll Charisma + Medicine at Difficulty 6.
If your treatment is successful, you may remove one of the patient's revealed Traumas without incurring any Experience cost.
Your patient is required to not encounter a traumatic event (roll Trauma) for the next month. If they violate this rule, your treatment is immediately reversed.
You may choose to use this Effect to temporarily relieve any number of the patient's Traumas (including permanent Traumas which were recorded as Conditions). In this case, Treatment takes 30 seconds and the effect lasts two hours. If the Patient is currently experiencing an episode, Difficulty is increased by 2.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see you perform a lobotomy.
Norman has to rip off his skin to turn into the new form.
Spend 2 Actions.
You become disguised in a manner of your choosing. The disguise lasts for two hours, or you may end it early at will.
The new appearance may have a different sex, age, and race to your own, and you may alter height by up to a foot and your weight by 50%. Your disguise cannot directly mimic an existing person. You cannot alter your clothes. A disguise cannot affect your Attributes or other stats.
You may roll Charisma + Crafts to attempt to make your disguise Beautiful. If your Outcome is 6 or higher, non-Effect Charisma rolls where your good looks could help are rolled at -2 Difficulty. If you fail or botch, you are ugly instead, and non-Effect Charisma rolls are made at +2 Difficulty.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see Sheds skin.
This Gift cannot have more than 3 Drawbacks, and its Gift Cost is capped at 2.

While disguised, you cannot use any Activated or Targeted Powers.
I become a Letiche a half man half gator abomination with powerful Jaws, Claws, and Tail. This form is menacing with its large build and its mossy green scales and yellow underbelly. My jaw extends allowing for a powerful bite.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You transform into Letiche for 3 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are Letiche, and you can use your equipment. Your Battle Scars, Injuries, and physical Liabilities are carried over between forms. Reverting from your Alternate Form cannot cause your existing Injuries to kill you. Instead, you remain Incapacitated.
While transformed, your Brawn is increased by 1 and your Dexterity is increased by 1. You do not suffer any Stress while transformed.
Your alternate form is its own deadly weapon. Unarmed attacks made in your alternate form deal +3 Weapon Damage (instead of the typical -1).
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see The Transformation looks painful and disgusting as the scales come out of my skin and my teeth and jaw morph into shape.
Your alternate form renders you unable to speak any human language and incapable of fine object manipulation. You can only hold or grasp objects in a crude, clumsy way.

If your Outcome is 4 or higher, the target will be completely destroyed and can no longer function, though it may still be repaired. If your Outcome is less than 4, the target will be partially damaged, and any attempts to use it will suffer a dice penalty equal to your Outcome.
If you have access to the remains of an object you had previously damaged or destroyed, you may spend a Committed action to un-destroy it.
The close-quarters doctrine employed by SILVERHOUND's operatives teaches one to be as effective with the natural weapons granted by one's hybrid form as they would be with any weapon. Far from the thrashing of wild beasts, Lorelai's slashes and bites are measured and surgical-- focusing on disabling a threat to her charges as quickly as possible.
You gain the following benefits as long as you are in your hybrid form and you are engaged in unarmed combat.

This Effect activates whenever a target you have injured with your teeth or claws escapes the range of your unarmed attacks. It does not require an Action or Exertion. Select a target within arm's reach. Your target should be intuitively based on the triggering event. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is alive and bleeds.

You are aware of the marked target's direction and distance from you. This lasts for the next month, or until either the mark is removed, or you choose to end the Effect. You can have up to 1 mark active.
You receive +2 dice to any rolls made against a marked target.

You may activate this Effect as a Reaction to contest any Action a valid target is taking, reducing their Outcome by your own. Your command has no impact beyond disrupting their Action.
