Azik, holding his book in his hand, flips open to the very first page. Inscribed on it, is a language no one, not even azik can understand, yet he managed to pull together one word. "Protect", with that, letters from the page comes flying out akin to magic, arranging themselves in the air before turning into a protection barrier on the person it is casted upon.
Attested in English since 1530, from Latin prōtēctus (“covered, protected”), past participle of prōtegere (“to cover the front, protect”) from prō, prō- (“before, in front of”) + tegere (“to cover”), see tegument. Displaced native Middle English shelden, from Old English sċildan (“to protect,” literally “to shield”).
A word of benevolence, love, and understanding.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction to activate. Roll Brawn + Alertness at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a Barrier around yourself, which absorbs the next Outcome Damage. Half the damage absorbed is reflected back at the attacker, which they can Defend against as normal. The Damage reduction from the Barrier is applied before Armor, and is treated like Armor by any effects such as Armor Penetration. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
You must maintain Concentration while using this Effect. The Barrier will fall if you are interrupted, or if it absorbs the full amount of damage. When a Barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds. As long as it does not fall, the barrier regenerates back to full strength at the end of each Round of combat.
A language processing module, arcing with purple electricity as it enables a person to understand any language spoken to them by anything the device deems..intelligent enough.

Upon the device running out of charge it will wish you a goodnight in a random language and then disable itself until it has fully recharged.
Exert your Mind and spend one minute.
You may understand and communicate to humans and Sapient beings as if you are fluent in a relevant language for the next hour.

After a moment, gray mist is emitted from the necklace. The cloud then coalesces into cloaked, wraith-like beings that surround you.
The wraiths use the voices of the innocents that have been harmed by the user’s actions.
What they’re saying is nearly incomprehensible to others due to the sheer quantity of voices attempting to whisper over each other.
The wraiths taunt and mock the user. Unlike the others, the user recognizes each and every voice and how they are related to the user. A familiar voice overwhelms the others: “Live.”
Wraiths
They're translucent and wouldn't inhibit vision.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action or Reaction. Roll Intellect + Investigation at Difficulty 6.

Colvin becomes aware, like a driving lance in his head, like an obstruction he can’t ignore, that one of the Fae Folk is nearby. He’ll likely whip his head erratically to look at it, before setting off on his hunt.
The Wild Hunt recognizes its own kind. Many of the hunt are linked to the Fae and many are such beings themselves, and the spear…adapts to the obsession of its wielder. Colvin’s obsession is his hatred of the Fae. He will stalk to the ends of the world to end them, if need be. The spear is more than happy to feed his hunger, while turning him into a piecemeal facsimile of the beings he hates most.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action.
You automatically detect all Fae Folk/Fairies within 50 feet of you for the next hour. This includes any who come within range during the duration. You have a sense of how many valid targets are nearby, as well as their distance and direction.
If no Fae Folk/Fairies targets are within 50 feet of you, and then one enters range, you automatically detect it, even if this Effect is not active.
