Using the soul shards of people who have died, he uses the energy that once tethered them to the world to draw energy out of the target and into him. Using the orb of soul shards he can feed the souls to ensure that they do not drink too deeply from their target and thus that the target is not too traumatized. Though it can be used without it, he does not yet have the mastery to do so.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action to activate. Select two Sapient targets within arm's reach. You must actively and obviously use Focus: Orb of soul shards. Collected from patients as they die to provide fodder for the dead souls that facilitate this ability. to activate this Effect. If a target does not consent to the transfer, you must roll Intelligence + Occult at Difficulty 6 to use the effect on them. They can resist by rolling either Body or Mind at Difficulty 6, depending on what you are attempting to transfer to them.

Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation will almost certainly be disturbed to see The soul of the transferee being sucked into the person he is casting this on as they are dragged out of the body by the damned souls in his orb.
Whenever you transfer an Injury, it's Severity increases by 1. Whenever you transfer Mind damage or Traumas, the recipient takes an additional Mind damage.
This was Valery's first sign that she was special. She had always had an aptitude for knowing way too much about death, but in the hospice she could just... ease them gently into the next world. Those who are effected by this ability can see a form overlapping hers, varying on where their soul will go after they die. For those who told her what she looked like in the hospice, it was usually some sort of angel, but it can also appear as a dark hooded figure, a flaming demon, a loved one who passed before, a being to whom they sold their soul, etc.

This Effect cannot be used unless The target must be close enough to death that using this power would kill or destroy them. If you do not deal enough damage to kill or destroy them, your action is wasted. Roll Intellect + Occult Difficulty 6. The target may contest by rolling Mind, Difficulty 6.
If the contested Outcome is positive, the target takes that much damage plus 3. The target's material Armor is completely ignored.

Popping the cap off his pen, the man throws his gaze across the terrain before starting to scribble down notes on the parchment, occasionally closing his eyes and listening in or taking another quick glance across the environemnt. He stays dead silent, slowly moving to inspect the area from different angles, making sure no details are missed.

This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is A faint glow of the eye. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.

Carlyle calls to the slumbering spirits that rest within the ancient weapons he spent so long restoring. Carlyle takes his hands and covers the weapon he desires to restore to its former glory. It takes about a minute for him to awaken the specter that waits for the day that it can rise again. He slides his hand across the blade as the rust, wear, and tear from all the years of lack of use just disappear. The weapon is as powerful and glorious as the day it was forged. For the next hour, it is even more powerful than it was before. But, after this hour, the weapon tries to catch up to this use and ends up in even worse condition than when it was restored.
Exert your Mind and spend a minute to activate. Select a non-Alien Weapons created at least 200 years ago within arm's reach. Cannot be used to improve Armor.
For the next hour, your target receives 2 extra dice to all actions taken with its intended use.
Upgraded items have half their normal weight, for the purposes of encumbrance.
After the Effect ends, any upgraded targets suffer a -2 extra dice dice penalty until they are either repaired or upgraded again.

The priest channels their true faith into a brutal assault on the consciousness of demonic or unholy creatures. By wielding their favored holy symbol, a gilded crucifix, they can put a proper fear of god into them, leaving them cowering at any truly holy things they encounter.
Exert your Mind (unless you have been recently attacked by your target) and spend an Action. Select a Sapient target within 20 feet. This Effect cannot be used unless the target is undead, demonic, or another evil creature. You must actively and obviously use a gilded cross to activate this Effect. Roll Charisma + Occult at Difficulty 6. Affected targets may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 8 with a -3 dice penalty. If they are incapacitated or unconscious, they fail automatically and their Outcome is 0.
If the Contested Outcome is positive, the target takes Mind damage equal to the Contested Outcome. If you deal at least 3 Mind damage, the target will gain a phobia of holy things as a Trauma. This Trauma may be removed by Effects or mundane therapy, as normal. Affected targets are aware that they are being attacked and can generally tell who did it.
The psychic can reach into another's' mind and pilfer their deepest memories. Doing so causes the psychic's nose to bleed and is exceptionally draining.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. Select a Living, Animate target within 20 feet You must maintain Concentration while the effect is active. Roll Intellect + Investigation at Difficulty 6. The target may resist by rolling Mind at Difficulty 7.
You are able to view your target's memories. The target is aware that their thoughts are being probed but not of the source of the probe. The Effect ends if the target moves out of range or your Concentration is interrupted.
You may ask specific questions about their memory - “what is their computer password,” “What were they doing at 4:00PM yesterday,” etc - but you cannot get answers to broad, analytical questions like “are they a good person?” or “what are their plans for the future?”
Each question takes as long as it takes to answer to read. When replaying a full memory, it is replayed in double time.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is your nose bleeding. If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
As a free creature, The Fairy cannot withstand being caged or imprisioned in any way. Luckily, they possess a glamour that allows them to unlock any lock binding them with a wink of their eye. The lock falls open with a sparkle of light and a sound like a ringing bell.

The Witch is a master herbalist and can cure any number of illnesses and diseases with her special potions. She goes into the wilderness to find the proper set of herbs. Once she has what she's looking for, she mixes them together and boils the concoction. Steam rises from the mixture, twisting into recognizable shapes such as animals and spirits. The whole process takes about fifteen minutes, after which the patient must drink the entire mixture. They are immediately cured.
The proper preparation varies from person to person, so a single batch cannot be used to treat multiple people.
Exert your Mind and spend 15 minutes. Select a Living target within arm's reach. This Effect cannot be used unless you can forage for herbs. You must actively and obviously use water, a container, and heat to activate this Effect.
You may cure any Non-Alien diseases, toxins, or poisons afflicting your target even if you have not diagnosed or fully understood it. You may cure diseases or poisons even if they are not treatable through modern medicine. During treatment, the malady you are treating does not progress or cause additional Damage or other effects.
Whenever you cure a disease, poison, or toxin, if it had inflicted any Damage, your target is healed for half that Damage.
