Maria is engulfed in a wreathe of licking flames, and, with a terrifying whinny and a clattering of hooves, emerges as a nightmare. As a nightmare, she appears as a large black horse with dead, white eyes and flaming mane, tail, and fetlocks. These flames are not hot to the touch. She snorts black billows of smoke and has an otherworldly whinny that sends shivers down the spines of mortals.

You transform into Draft horse (nightmare) until you transform into something else or choose to return to your original form. You cannot transform into a flying creature. See the Extended System text for stats.
While transformed, you cannot use any equipment (including Artifacts and Consumables), and you do not have access to any of your Powers. Any equipment you are wearing transforms with you.
Injuries and Wound Level are carried over between forms. However, transforming can never kill you; you merely remain Incapacitated until your Injuries are sufficiently healed.
While transformed, you may speak and use any Influence or Communication Powers you posses.
While transformed, you are obviously unusual, unnatural, or alien, and the average person will take a special interest in you.

You transform into Yeun for 30 minutes. You have access to all of your Powers while you are Yeun, and you can use your equipment. The Injuries and Battle Scars of your Alternate Form and your true form are tracked separately.
While transformed, your Dexterity is increased by 3. Your Stress is reduced by 2.
You may end this Effect prematurely as a Free Action.
Anyone who witnesses you during this Effect's activation or for its duration will almost certainly be disturbed to see Countless screaming souls cry out in unison as their essence is torn apart and plastered over the user, imbuing them in malice that envelopes their entire being.
After this Effect ends, you cannot move quicker than a walk (15 feet per Round) for one minute and suffer a -1 dice penalty for an hour.
While transformed, you automatically fail any Mind roll to resist an impulse and suffer -3 dice on all other Mind rolls.
If you do not have a sacrificial Injury when you activate this Effect, take a new Severity-1 Injury.
Rob plays a jazz tune on his saxophone, and spontaneously creates another instrument out of thin air.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. You must actively and obviously use a saxophone to activate this Effect.
Choose a specific type of instrument which could fit inside a large luggage bag (up to 75 liters). It must be Non-Alien and generic. You cannot create explosives. You cannot create firearms.
Roll Charisma + Performance to fabricate your chosen Object. The Difficulty is assigned by the GM and depends on the specificity of your chosen Object. Your created items no longer expire, and will last until they are destroyed.
She is a roughly 5 foot tall anthropomorphic mouse teenager. At a glance she just seems to be a normal person, if a bit strange looking. With a much closer inspection, the mouse details become obvious. But such details are excusable as what could be strange medical conditions.

Summon the one and only Sapient small mouse with glasses, named Mimi at your location. They last until they are destroyed They are controlled by you. This Artifact may have at most one minion active at a time.
If killed, you cannot re-summon your minion until after your next Contract.
You ever feel a sound so hard it stops a bullet? That’s what this is. I twist the knobs, drop the beat, and boom a wall of pure rhythm locks in. It’s not just a shield. It’s the beat saying ‘not today.’ You want through? Better be louder than me.
Exert your Mind and spend an Action. Roll Charisma + Influence at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, you create a barrier around yourself, which absorbs the next Outcome +4 Damage. The Damage reduction from the barrier is applied before Armor. You may only have 1 active barrier at a time.
The barrier will fall after two hours, or if it absorbs the full amount of Damage. When a barrier falls, you cannot use this Effect again for a minimum of 2 Rounds.
This Effect is not obvious, and the only sign you are using an Effect is whispering Bass lines (Uzz Uzz Uzz). If someone suspects that an Effect was used, they must roll Perception + Alertness, Difficulty 8 to pick up on your Tell.

Any rolls made for Actions taken in this way use a Mental Strength of 4 in place of your Brawn rating, a Mental Agility of 2 in place of your Dexterity, and otherwise use your own Attributes and Abilities.

The aquamancer spends a minute soaking their wounds in at least a gallon of water. During this time, the injured area is obviously absorbing the liquid, and the flesh visibly knits back together.
Exert your Mind and spend 1 minute. You must use up at least a gallon of water in order to activate this Effect. Choose a specific Injury on yourself that has not yet been treated with this Effect and roll Brawn + Survival at Difficulty 6.
If you succeed, the Injury is reduced in Severity by your Outcome. If you reduce its Severity to 0, the Injury is fully healed. Otherwise, it is partially healed and will heal the rest of the way at its natural rate.
This counts as a successful Makeshift Stabilization if the Injury was not already Stabilized; any Battle Scars caused by the Injury will remain.
The Thief has a stash in which they can store a few objects. It can be accessed through any burlap sack.

You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.

The magician waves a handkerchief over an item, and it disappears! They may produce the object later by fluttering a scarf.

You may withdraw an item from your stash, or add an item that is within arm’s reach to your stash. You may only stash targets which are in your possession, grappled, or otherwise controlled by you.

The Ninja is a master at blending in to any crowd or organization. If they can find complete privacy, they may channel their ninjutsu to temporarily create the illusion of any outfit or uniform they desire. The new clothes shimmer into existence over their existing garb over the course of a minute of meditation.

You become disguised in a manner of your choosing. The disguise lasts for two hours, or you may end it early at will.
The new appearance must have a similar sex, age, and race to your own. You cannot significantly change your height and weight. Your disguise cannot directly mimic an existing person. You may change the appearance of your outfit. A disguise cannot affect your Attributes or other stats.
You may roll Charisma + Crafts to attempt to make your disguise Beautiful. If your Outcome is 6 or higher, non-Effect Charisma rolls where your good looks could help are rolled at -2 Difficulty. If you fail or botch, you are ugly instead, and non-Effect Charisma rolls are made at +2 Difficulty.
You cannot alter the appearance of your flesh and blood.
The Necromancer stands over a corpse and makes a series of grandiose lifting gestures. The corpse rises from the ground as though suspended by invisible strings, barks a pained groan, and lands on its feet, now a full-fledged member of the living dead.
